This thread is dedicated to those awesome, random moments you would just like to talk about- just post the moments here!
- FYI, I don't mean awesome moments by "Z0MG I went 20-0!"
To start us off/give you an idea of what I mean-
A while ago, during a failing attempt of bringing my LAV against a tank- the battle ended. While everything was frozen in place, my LAV was frozen mid-jump (dukes of hazard style) dodging missiles.
More recently, I managed to get my self cornered by some people on the ground with ARs, and one guy on a building with a mass driver. I threw a grenade at one of the reds with the AR, and the mass driver round actually collided with my grenade in mid air, and exploded in my face. |

Being chased by at least one squad of four, running for my llife, dodging through containers. I get surrounded and its a mere matter of secoonds before I die. I throw a standard Locus nade and after I'm dead I get a tripple +50 from my nade. Good times. This was yesterday.
This is from the second build. I used the oh so OP tukker nades. I spawned in somones drop uplink on top of one of the big buildings in the 4 point map. As I jump down I throw a tukker just to see it fly paralell to me as I decend. More or less at the exact moment I land I see a +50 pop up. I get shot from behind and turn around and see no less than 3 guys coming at me really close, one was a fatsuit. So I panic and throw my remaining two nades and take out one guy and dammaging the two others. I kill another with my AR and then I end it all by killing the fatsuit. And I blow up on someones remote explosive...
I had a little pistol only run that same build. When skilled up the scramblers do a lot of dammage. I can just remember this one time I was jumping from a ridge down to a group of enemies. I fired one single shot on my way down just to blow my cover.... I "accidentally" hit a scout in the head and killed him with that single pistol shot.... |

Me and my friend were defending B on the large open map. A tank showed up and started shooting missiles at us. I saw one coming straight at me so I tried to jump over it. The missile went under me and killed my friend. I swear we couldn't stop laughing |

During one Skirmish match on the Ashland map there was a sniper hiding behind the redline in between part of a concrete retaining wall and a hill. I knew as soon as we turned our backs to him he would start causing trouble. So I sprinted into the redzone and threw a grenade into his hiding place. +50 As I was just about to cross over to safety (feeling super-cool) a Jeep ran me over. |

One Ashland Ambush match gave me what I think of as my Jason Bourne moment. I was sniping from one of the cylindrical towers and had just ran out of ammo. As I moved toward the ladder with my scrambler pistol out, a red dot poked his head over the edge. I fired in a blind panic, and he started back down the ladder, so I ran to the edge of the tower and tried to shoot down, but I couldn't get a good angle. I knew I couldn't let him get off the ladder alive, so I leapt from the top of the tower and fell past him as he was still only halfway down. Hitting the ground left me with no shield and less than half my armor, but I was able to turn around and blow him away while he was still stuck climbing. |

It was noon and the white sand beneath my feet was searing hot. I was standing up on top of my usual hill, forge gun in hand watching the battle rage beneath me. ground was gained and lost men died and were killed, the hours were long and life was boring.
I had adorned myself in with my trusty forge gun to destroy a tank and with it gone I had nothing to do. beads of sweat slid down my face as i watched them fighting below me. it was a slow battle indeed and rather evenly matched. occasionally an enemy would notice me and that was a welcome reprieve from the endless watching. adrenalin surged through my veins starring at the lone soldier approach me. well out of his range I depressed the trigger of my forge gun. it started bucked in my hands and sending off bolts of lighting like Zeus himself. I struggled to control it but it was like trying to tame an angry bull. eventually it came under control and I carefully aimed it just below this brave soldiers feet who undaunted at this display had continued up the hill. calmly and slowly I released the trigger. I only had one shot so it had to count. the round stayed true and hit it's mark. the nameless soldier's body was sent flying out of the black and blue cloud of plasma. quickly I looked around it seemed our exchange had gone unnoticed and my position remained compromised, no logi would come to help the soldier and all that remained of him was a blood stain on the sand.
I was slightly saddened when I realized that it was back to the old grind and like the batman atop his gargoyle I went back to my vantage point to watch the end of the battle. then out of thin air a shimmering spectre appeared, it bore no markings and carried a single LAV. decloaking before my eyes it was revealed to be of my enemies calling. the LAV wasn't a big ticket item but there was only minute or two left in the match and I was bored. I charged up my forge, as the plasma superheated I saw enemy soldiers grouping up to board it unaware of their extreme misfortune. it was ready. my present charged I unleashed it. just then the RDV tilted and took the full impact of my blast. undeterred or unaware the trio continued toward the LAV. the fools. I charge a second round and after a short while was ready. they were just boarding up and my opportunity was clear, fate had smiled upon me this match. this time I did not miss, the LAV bloomed in the most beautiful assortment of colors my war ravenged eyes had seen in a longwhile. bodies were sent meters from the crater where their LAV used to be. satisfied with my kill I watched the nanites remove the shell of the LAV from the field. the match ended just then. had I gotten the final kills? I still don't know, but I like to think I did.
kill count from that match 1X SICA 1X MYRON DROPSHIP 2X LAV'S (1 was a starter fit) 3X Mercs (not counting crew of vehicles) |

Remote explosive kills against infantry (especially when they're right on top of it) are just hilarious. A heavy was laying on the trigger of their HMG one second, doing an aerial cartwheel the next. |

It was day. The time was not known as it had felt like the battle had gone on for ages. We had been redlined by the enemy and it was clear who the victor was going to be. I sat at our MCC watching the horror of spawn camping being done by the enemy. I sat up there, a forge gun between by fat hands. I charge it up. Once I notice the charge is max I start to walk to the dropping part of the MCC. I see an LAV in the distance. I know I only have one shot. I walk off the MCC and shoot my forge gun at the LAV in the distance as I'm falling.
I get a hit marker :( |

I get a hit marker :( little do you know, that hit marker was on your own teammate (friendly fire turned on for a second) aho was about to fire a nuclear tank firing more tanks out of it at the enemy MCC. You killed them before they could fire, and didn't get wp because it was friendly fire. |
