Subject says it all really.
I know the devs have said that they'll not put up with it and ban whoever, but what will they be doing to monitor it and what constitutes as cheating?.
There's a few things that I'd consider blatant cheating, but others wont and there's no way to tell without the "refs" seeing it for themselves. This in itself could be avoided by simply not doing it when they are near.
For example, I know for a fact that there's "top players" running about with 3rd party pads and tactical rifles. I personally find this cheating as not everyone can do it and it gives a huge advantage, but what's to stop someone doing it in the tourney and is it actually cheating?.
There's more that I could list, but you get the idea. Without somebody watching the teams every moves and recording them, you'd never know and even if they were recording, the team would know where the GM is so it's pointless. That is, of course, if CCP aren't recording the game data for review after.
Can someone from CCP put my mind at ease on this issue please?. |

Yes, I saw that thank you and understand. Obviously they will be there to monitor the fight, but I'm wondering in what capacity.
I'm pretty sure that they're gonna have to have their wits about them and that's even if we're having people in game with us that actually play this game and know it well enough.
I've seen GM posts before that are totally un-informed on the game in it's current state, so that comment doesn't instil me with faith quite frankly.

Not at all. As far as I'm aware we've nothing to hide or be concerned about.
It's just that a certain GM doesn't have a sense of humour it seems. |
