Played an Ambush game here at 3:30 EST. From the war barge, the match started with only two players on each team. Some more players joined, and some left before I gave up. When I dropped out there were five players on the other team, and two on mine.
There was an insane amount of stuttering and rubberbanding. Particularly, if I sprinted after I spawned, I was yanked back to the point I spawned at after about three seconds of sprinting.
My gun did no damage, and at one point Altina McAlterson (who was on the other team) and I stood at point blank range and tried all our different weapons on each other with no sucess. We were able to damage each other with melee attacks. I tried throwing a grenade, but there was no animation, and the only graphic that showed were the dust clouds from the grenade bouncing on the ground. Then it exploded, and killed me while doing no damage to Altina. The kill ticker said I suicided.
After dying, it took several seconds of hammering the respawn button before I left the bleedout screen and was able to attempt to respawn. Some people were able to kill me with their weapons, but I was never able to deal damage other than with melee. I tried playing for maybe five to ten minutes, at most, before giving up.
After I left the battle, I still had my team and squad chat boxes up. I was able to leave the squad, and after a few minutes, the team chat closed as well.
I have NEVER seen the game lag this bad before, and like I said, it was absolutely hilarious. Well, I hope this helps! |

Damn, that is bad.
Have you noticed that ever since the hotfix and not long before the start of today's tournament, the lag has hit epic proportions? Coincidence or no? |

Unfortunately I don't get to play much. That was the last game I played last night; the previous matches had little to no lag.
That being said, it would not surprise me at all if the tournament was jacking up the server--I've heard that corp battles are insanely laggy. |
