I'm just trying to be nice here and give people a heads up.
Even if it's just for bragging rights, I hear Up 4 Anything is looking for some back up players. This isn't a corp recruitment thread, I just found out they needed a few back up players in case they have trouble getting corp mates online on those specific tourney dates. I figured some people might want to temp switch their corp. (with their CEO's permission of course) to get in. One of them (I think it was Valmaar) mentioned a 5 million ISK reward to all players who help out if they win while I was squadded up with him yesterday. I don't need the money and I'm busy during the tourney, but you might want to look into it if you would like a spare 5 mil. You could always share some of that money with your corp after the tourney.
Anyway, just throwing it out there. |

So a corportation with barley enough players made it in to the tournament and are going to strugle to get enough players online for the matches?
When there are well established Corps out there that didnt make it in this is a bit dissapointing to read.
If you knew you were going to be short of players you shouldnt of applied to enter. |

Nice. ^^ But seriously though, I think they are good on members, I just think they are looking for back ups in case they have trouble getting everyone online at the tourney. More of an organizational issue than a recruitment issue. They just started up a few weeks ago iirc, so I'm not really surprised they aren't fully organized yet. |

Only players who are 1) in the corporation when the sign-ups end and 2) have participated in at least one match in the tournament are eligible for the prizes.
so any players you recruit now cant take part |

Actually that just says they won't get the prizes, they can still participate.

Actually, if you read what you just wrote, you are mistaken. They cannot get the prizes but they can still play, which is why they are offering a reward for people who want in.
Anyway, no need to flame. I only threw this up because Valmaar seemed like an alright guy and I wasn't interested in joining. Figured I'd toss it out there for him. Some money for people who couldn't get in to win it themselves, and a place in the tourney for people who just want a chance to be in it. Seems fair to me, but like I said I'm just trying to help out a dude who was pretty cool to play with. BTW, this is an EU corp, so it'll be in the EU bracket. |

If I was those peeps, I'd hit up the cats in STB, a veritable goldmine of good veteran players that cannot compete due to a mishap. It could very well be a beneficial arrangement for both corps.
Btw...does that killer, Carlos, still run with STB? Does he even play anymore? Haven't seen that guy in the new build at all and I remember him being a top Beta player in the old builds. Just wondering... |

Understanding the current situation, you really might want to completely consider all the complex, but uniquely evident, opportunities still available for you and your guys to still compete in the tournament.
I mean, why miss out? There is still a chance if you are savvy enough and clever enough...
