I was going to just have the title "having some issues buying stuff" then I decided it would get the wrong impression.
Anyways, so with the latest patch, i've noticed i'm averaging 45K isk a game, now first off, yeah I suck. I haven't played any FPS this much in a long time. Second (don't ask me why) but i've suddenly become an inverted player so i'm practcing with that.
But even when I got in a tank and got like 15 kills, not including assists I still only made about 50k isk. is that normal? will they change it back or at least raise the amount you get?
Why?
Well I'm afraid to actually buy drop suit stuff, right now i just add weapons to starter gear because i'm afraid of loosing allot and just wasting money. with that, i never use tanks because i'm dangerous lol.
anyone else have that problem of not buying stuff for fear of wasting? any idea how I can... kinda get over that? thanks in advance lol |

i was having market issues early on in the day, i jumped on and bought some things, it let me and now i've been playing, FINALLY!
anyway, the isk seems to be resolved. now getting at least 100k a game |

Play skirmish, you make 100000 to 200000 isk by killing and hacking, especially when the squad leader put a defend order on you.

I am having a really hard time convincing myself to buy anything in the game, most of the time I just run a super cheap militia suit. It's horrible, it takes forever to drop people and I die near instantly, but at least I am actually gaining ISK after each match.
Every once in a blue moon I will bring out my "better" suit, which is only about 47k, but it's amazing how quickly I can eat through ISK with a 50k suit and only ~50k ISK payouts per match.
Now if it was just poor payouts being the only problem, it might be tolerable... but when I lose my good suit to something ridiculous, like spawning right in front of a tank twice in a row, or right in front on an enemy, it really makes me not want to use them due to the terrible consistency in the gameplay. Let alone lag and frame-rate issues which is almost the biggest cause of my deaths in this game.
I can still enjoy the game playing with a squad of corp buddies using garbage suits, but it is getting tiring playing the same crap suit all the time. And it seems nearly every time I use my good suit, I end up losing it because of some ridiculous outcome.
ISK needs to flow a lot more than what we have now, I think the only holding-back factor with ISK should be with vehicles and super top-tier suit loadouts. I mean if I can't afford to use a 47k suit frequently, then something is terribly wrong. And its ruining the gameplay experience for me. Not much pint upgrading skills and getting better things if I can only use them once every 10 matches. |
