I would love a plasma thrower, especially one as an LMG (basically behaves like a usual LMG, but shoots a bright stream of plasma).
Plasma can look similar to fire (for flame thrower), or look like electricity (lightning is plasma). |

I read the passages where the arc cannon is used on Google Books, and it sounds pretty amazing. White arcs of 17,000 degree celsius plasma ripping through enemies.
The version in the book is definitely a heavy weapon. I would like a smaller version of it as a light weapon rifle. |

In real life flamethrowers are replaced by incendiary rockets, I could see these,plasma flamethrower and arc cannon all being included. We need racial variants, different races could fill same role with different approaches that we mercs mix and match at will. |
