Villore sec ops is an NPC corp, to my knowledge you can't take part in the tournament with an NPC corp. |

Villore is, as they said, a NPC corp. Which means they won't participate. |

Correct, NPC rookie corp and you cannot join our tournament if you are in a NPC corp.
As an interesting bit of trivia, the CEO is Orset Rotineque ;)

No, it's not.
Why should the NPC Corps be shown alongside the player corps?
If this game gets anything like the number of people CCP wants it to get, even in the short term, you'll always have NPC corps at the number one spot due to the number of members they have. |

So you don't think NPC corps should have any honour of being better than each other or Factional competition !? What kind of elitist rubbish is that !
Edited ... also how will the number of players affect who's at the number one spot ? Unless you're one of these that think KD is the only important stat, even then the ratio is unaffected by player numbers as is the win/loss ratio (possibly the most significant stat in DUST at present until we possibly get isk loss/gain stats) |

Then don't ask for them to be "removed" !! Differentiated or separated or whatever you want to call it, but saying you want them removed is just plain arrogant. |

Why not just leave it as is ... but highlight the NPC corps somehow, to differentiate them from player owned corps. That way you can see who's top while leaving the KD ratios n such to be all in together. That way corps with lower stats than an NPC corp are shown up and those with higher kill counts than some NPC corps get higher bragging rights. |

Now THAT is a good idea and a constructive comment. Need more of those, they seem to be few and far between. |

Keeping them all in together leaves things like KD ratios and win/loss ratios together. Personally I'm not too fussed, but I think it would be both easier and better to keep them together ... reason being the NPC corps ratio stats will give you an "average" marker showing up player owned corps that are below average for these stats and for the stats like kills the NPC corps are likely to be higher, but those player owned corps that can climb up through the NPC corps have more to achieve.
Fact of the matter is ... a corp is a corp ... whether it's player owned or NPC owned. As nobody's offered one yet ... give me one good reason why they should be separated ... and I'll tell you now ... "because I want my corp to be top of the board" doesn't count ! |

What?
The number of players per corp do affect who's at the number one spot. Every single member's score is added together to get the total Corporation score. Kills, War Points, KD Ratio, Wins/Losses etc. Take for example, Warpoints. My corp has some like 400k War Points, while the leading corps have well over 4 million. The reason is not because they've been around longer or are doing better than us, it's because they have a lot more members than us. My corp consists of 4 people, where as some of the leading corps have over 100. So yeah, numbers in a corp matter, I actually made a thread about this a week or two ago. |

I mean to have the corp section contain all corps, including player, but the in the Player Corp section, have it contain only player run corps.
And ya there is a difference, NPC corps are unorganized and just a bunch of blueberries with a random corp name in their player info to fill in the gap. I don't consider them a corp just a bunch of randoms bundled up into a category. |
