Its not to much to ask to have NWSE on the mini map icon its a incredibly basic feature IMO. |

I posted about this before and got a good chuckle out of peoples response. I asked for the N on the mini map to be made more prominent and most replies were in surprise that was a N already on the map. Getting the other 3 added would be nice too  |

Personally, I'd be really happy to have X Y Z coordinates showing (or optionally showing).

I personally would rather N always be up, then have my icon rotate, but to each his own I guess. |

Having recently joined a corp and played as squad leader a few times I realised how frustrating it is trying to tell a squad member where the enemy is.
Having N, S, W and E would make this process quicker and more fluid allowing for better engagement of the enemy. Furthermore the N marker is white at the moment which is really really hard to see, a more contrasting colour would be better or maybe having outlines on it would help.
I do hope this is taken into consideration when the next minimap pass is undertaken.
As well as having directional markers on the minimap having them on the main map could also be useful, although if north is always up this is not necessarily necessary. |

How about just an option to have it the way it is now or toggle it to have north always up and your marker rotates. |
