Since the last update earning skill points and ISK seems to take forever, Players who play well donGÇÖt get the rewards they deserve and new players struggle to keep up.
I thinking these need readjusting. My suggestion would be: Top Table players: between 20,000 to 25,000 SP / 120,000 ISK to 150,000 Mid Table Players: 12,000 to 18,000 / 80,000 ISK to 100,000 Bottom table players: 3,000 to 8,000 / 30,000 ISK to 50,000

thats pretty much how it is now anyways. If you get a really good match after the sp cap reset your gonna get around 20 to 30k sp after that probably about 10 to 15k then it drops to 2 and 3k sp. i had a 17 & 3 match the other day and got 10k had a 21 & 1 match yesterday as a dropship gunner and only got 13k sp. the cap is bogus. |

I agree. I do love the leveling system in Dust so far, but sorry CCP, if I have to play 100 ambushes/skirmishes to make 100,000 skill points, I don't have that kind of time to invest in the game. No one in their adult life (save a few) can play video games 18 hours a day. And no a booster will only help a little, and I'm not investing actual $ towards it because the base value is still bogus. More SP, please! |

I'm new to dust and didn't realise there was a weekly SP cap. Gotta say that sucks. I'm now stuck with a semi-competitive set-up for the rest of the week. Surely a daily cap would be better and would get more people playing on a more regular basis? |

They're looking at tweaking the weekly cap, and there's also a "diminishing returns" effect that operates on a daily basis - the more you play during a particular 24 hour period, the less SP you'll be earning in the later matches. |

Really? U play 24h and their don't give sp... well this isn't Sparta, this is madness!!! Now i understand why with a 18/10 k/d and 1250 wp i have earned only 8,934 sp ( with active skill point boost ) They are against themeselves xD
C'mon MORE SP please!!!! I need prototype dropsuit!!!! |

I'm interested in what it will be like in the next build, but currently I like it the way it is. A low sp cap ensures that a player will really think about how to spend their points while also maintaining a very long skill progression that can take several months to get realy good in one profession and years to be a master of all... No matter how much a person grinds. It's not a grinding game where a person can sit and just decide to grind something to lvl 5. It's much more of a time game like those real time internet broswer games where it takes 30 minutes or 7 days to build a hut. Think of things in terms of real time and not game time played. |

Yes, what u say may be right, but I heard just now if u play a lot ( in 24h ) the sp gain is less! It's not right! Is like saying "U've played enough so now go to spleep" xD if i play lot is to increase my gear not to go stand in the corner! |

All that matters with sp, is that it increases. How much so depends on how long ccp expects the game to last. A daily cap would be disastrous: it would mean that those who plays, say, 1hour a day, would get more sp than someone who plays heavily over the weekend. Obviously you can still be competitive, even with militia gear, but to penalise those who just play at different times is ridiculous.
As for isk: play with what you can afford. You're not supposed to be able to run proto gear permanently. |

Yeah I think they need to fix that cap I think it's ok there is a cap to prevent some players from just shooting wayyyy too far ahead but as it is currently it's going to take me weeks just to get enough SP to get assault drop suits from III to IV not to mention the other small tweaks I'll inevitably do along the way |
