for both X and Y, just would like some insight on what some people set their sensitivity levels to. mine i'm not completely sure yet. i've been mix-matching them to find out the best set. |

adding what you use actually is some good insight as well. cause i figured keyboard and mouse would be a lot easier to aim with then DS3. that's usually what i use, but i might consider switching. ever since i jumped back onto dust after not playing for some weeks my aiming is dead |

5,5 DS3. Nothing about the sensitivity settings make sense. I've fooled around with the settings a bunch trying to get on top of the loose controls and morphing deadspot. I just said screw it after awhile and put it in the middle. |

5,5. with a Eagle Eye Converter, and N52 and Logitech G700
I get better control with this than the built in M/KB support. |

can I also ask in this if people use the aim assist or no (save me making a new topic just for it)
As for my levels I have been slowly bring them down as I become more use to the controller (usually play fps on computer) I think they are something like 4.4 |

DS3 at 30-30. I put the aim assist on and off now and again to see if it's been introduced/improved, and, there's no difference that I can tell so far as I'm still shooting halos around peoples heads |

I get better control with this than the built in M/KB support. Is the aiming less choppy with the eagle eye? Is so bouncy unless I turn on mouse smoothing, and then it's down right impossible to aim, SO SLOW! |

With the EEC the mouse controls the DS3 sticks so it is very smooth, once the 5 dead-zones are calibrated for the game you are using it on the small mouse movements mean small stick movements. Think of it as moving the mouse a little so the stick is deflected a little and if you stop the mouse the stick returns to center. I use it for all my PS3 games that are first or third person. You can also set the speed and sensitivity with the EEC software.
I've been FPS'ing on PC since the days of Wolfenstein 3D and my thumbs just cant be precise as some of the hardcore console gamers, so I use what comes natural, just as the thumbsticks are natural to the consolers. |
