First, yes, I use KBM. Really enjoy it so far, as console controls give me the willies.
I've literally tried hitting every key on my keyboard, though, and I still have to use the r2 button on the controller in order to switch to equipment. This is particularly troublesome when using the prefit Logistics dropsuit, as I have no way to actually revive people. It is, of course, also a pain for nanohives, etc.
The scroll wheel will get me my main weapon and sidearm, but only scrolls through those. Same with caps lock. |

Click and keep the scrollwheel pressed, menu will pop-up ;)
On another note, I havent found a way to set a defend order without going to the overview screen with a KB/M |

Just found how to set squad orders through KB/M. Keep scrollwheel pressed to get the item wheel, then click Q and the squad orders wheel pops up, select the order you want with mouse, release scrollwheel and click LBM once to set the order. :) |

You can also hold caps lock to bring up the wheel. |

Hold R2 then hold R3 then select order.
