Vehicle skills.
Oh, I suppose you wanted specifics eh? It isn't complex in any way shape or form, just put into anything that affects your vehicle, and nothing else. Off the top of my head that's...Electronics, Engineering, Mechanics, Vehicle Command, Shield Operation/Management, any skill required for the modules you want to use, and skills required for the vehicle you want, etc. And one more thing. You said you want a "vehicleS class", emphasis on the S because you really don't want to try to put into HAV, LAV, and Dropships all at the same time, start with one and move on when you have SP to spare, which will probably be never. |

Vehicle command first. Then mechanics to boost HP, and turret operation to get better turrets. Make sure you also up your Engineering, Shield Operation, and Electronics to have the ability to get better skills. From there on, its your choices. |

You seem smart, so last question: out of the empires and starting classes, which ones should I pick (I don't know the differences)? |

Skill base hp skills depending on the tank you want ( engineering for caldari and mechanics for gallente) then skill the turret that will coincide with the marauder class bonus for that tank ( hybrid turrets for gallente and missiles for caldari) and go on from there as you gain experience and through trial and error. |

yes I wanted specifics, because I never looked at vehicles. Plus, I have no clue what turrets and things like that that I want to put on my vehicles. That's why I'm asking. |

WELL, I personally prefer the Gallente; its all a matter of opinion and your favorite suit type. Basically, choose it based on your playstyle, for example, a heavy should be an Amarrian, a scout should be Gallente, an assault should be Caldari, etc. They have their skills set up for their respective suit. As for classes, again, base it off your playstyle. I have mine set up so I have maximum efficiency as an assault.
Other helpful information: there are 2 vehicle types currently: Gallente (heavy on Armor) and Caldari (heavy on Shields). I choose Gallente out of personal preference, the reason being is that Armor doesn't repair itself, so its better to have an armor vehicle. And also, I'm not *that* experienced, but I can offer my 2 cents worth: Armor-Shield hybrids are probably the best vehicle. Always have an armor rep for the emergencies and make sure you get as much armor and shields as you can out of your vehicle as possible, even if it is only militia gear.
EDIT: Also, always do the math so you can figure damage output, shield recharge, abilities, armor and shields, etc. It'll help in the long run. |

Missile turrets are incredibly OP, or so I'm told, so I recommend you use those. You will likely want to use shield-based vehicles, as I'm also told those are superior. If you DO use shield vehicles, then skip skilling mechanics and go straight to shield operation/management. That's all I got. |

Yes, missile turrets are OP. But I find armor-based hybrids to be more effective than shield tanks, lool. |

Actual vehicles, however; until minmatar vehicles come out, I would use caldari for actual combat roles, and gallente for support roles. keep in mind that gallente LAV piloting costs 4 or 5 times as much as caldari LAV piloting skills |
