11 times do I have to press X or Start before I'm in my merc quarters. ELEVEN times! That of course includes the initial one to start the game.
This is really excessive, especially as I have to restart my game as often as I have to. I literally spend about half my time loading the game. |

Second,
Moreover can there be an option to turn the Merc quarters off and just have a menu, like there is in EVE with the Captains Qaurters?
Overall really enjoying the game. Keep up the good work. |

a lot of those x's are acknowledging the beta status of the game. Those will be gone at launch. |

The first is completely unnecessary, it informs us about the character reset. No need to show it every time 2 is only partially needed, the game does not HAVE an offline component, ergo the act of starting the game is in itself acknowledging that you are going online. 3, 4 and 5 could be one, if that, namely the NDA reminder. After the first launch we HAVE seen the EULA and patch notes. And why not show them at teh beginning if we HAVE to see them, that way we do have time to make a pot of coffee, and perhaps even drink half of it before getting to the trailer video. It can be bypassed by pressing start, that is one of the 10 I count. Which is NOT needed there upon EVERY launch. Then the "press start to ... start". Why? Why not just provide the copyright info on the Character select? Then the only really needed one, Character selection. But why do we have to press X twice for that? One to select then once more to select again. Use X to select, and triangle to provide extra options, such as delete. Then the mandatory "redeem" screen. Again, it adds time, and another press on X. If we want to redeem items, let us do it as we do in EVE. From in game, and/or as one of the options on the proposed triangle context menu. |

It is a serious problem, when you have to do it after every game. Two if I'm lucky. |

there are more serious issues at hand than 11 push on button at start up. take a number and get in the queue |

You got 11 as well? I'm glad my counting wasn't off.
Yeah, it takes something in the realm of 5 minutes to quit the game and reboot it. That has to be unacceptable. |

Some of those messages will disappear upon release. Particularly the NDA reminder. But I do like to be given the option to skip all those other messages and just tell the system to auto-accept every message unless there have been a recent change. |

It is a serious problem, when you have to do it after every game. Two if I'm lucky. Post in the bugs section if you're getting issues forcing you to restart that much. I can go for 5-10 matches (ambush or skirmish) while sending messages, checking out the marketplace, chatting, etc... and not have a single problem. |

All it takes is: Mouse Click. Highlight Code. Delete.
Yes, I'm exaggerating, but it's not a hard problem to solve. +1 to the thread. The could even put everything in one box and have us only press X twice. |

At the very least make it so each dialogue goes away after some seconds.
Then at least I can go put the kettle on while waiting for dust to start :)

Your definition of a serious problem is skewed. Being on fire is a serious problem, having to press x 6 times to play the game, is not serious. |

When you spend as much time loading the game, as you do actually playing it, it is serious.
I just removed DUST completely, including the save data, restored the system with both options 3 and 4 in the Safe mode menu, then reinstalled the game.
The problems remain. |
