Are they worth picking up to play about with at the moment?
Want to try them out but I see alot of people out there with AV stuffs. Dont want to pick afew up and get frustrated right now if there totally sub par  |

HAVs no, dropships yes if you're a decent pilot and have people to gun for you.
I've heard some people say they've managed to eke out a living with the T1 HAVs, but the militias aren't really worth putting on the field. |

Yes to both, if you can play them right HAV's are still deadly as hell. Dropships need another person for gunner unless you do ambush to test piloting it while under heavy fire |

Im just a novice when it comes to HAV/DS' . Tried a DS breifly last build but ate forge and swarms in the face hard as soon as it went up in the air  |

Try using a militia LAV for a whole match. If you can keep it alive the whole time, try HAV's. |

I'm currently driving a well fit sica. I've popped a few gunligi's. They weren't well fit tho. If u bust out a poorly fit tank don't be afraid to lose it |

I just use my LAV for moving on the map at the begining. Not worried about losing the stuff, more like not getting any gunners cause im a complete noob  |

Unless you have amazing self awareness and caution, Militia HAV's aren't worth it. I have a well fit one (about 800,000isk) And i only bring it in when playing with friends, but we also run around with Free LAV's to test for AV nade minefields. Once those are fixed it might be better, but i almost ran into a minefield when my friend vicboss (bless his soul) drove a cheap lav into 45 av grenades lying 30 feet in front of me |

Nah dont bother
Milita HAV are easy to kill
Plus we have AV minefields everywhere exploiting it for easy kills and pts so really ther is no point |
