There is an admitted memory leak with the 5 point maps and the dusty moods. I don't know why they went back to 5 point but stability should not determine who wins. So far the valley and plateau are the most stable, and the new 5 point is okay without the dusty moods. The 5 points have never been stable this build. This may be testing, but why did you put the broken stuff back in rotation? To test our patience?

Yes CCP, Please remove the 5pt map from the rotation for awhile until you figure out/fix the cause.

You ask us to test the game, we do and give you solid feedback on a subject and then nothing is done about it.

We have posted about this issue for a long while, please listen.

One more plea... If you don't take it out of the rotation for regular matches, please take it out of the Corporation Tournament.

I endorse this thread. The rock map and plateaus are a good choice, and whatever that small 5 point map is is kind of a gamble but seems ok without the dusty mood.

I've asked for the dust mood and the giant maps to be taken out of rotation a few times, but I seriously hope they do not show up in the tournament choices, otherwise it's not a test of skill but rather luck in terms of who has the fewest team members that gets screwed by nasty framerate problems.

These are my thoughts as well...

Another good thread about this, hopefully someone from CCP actually says something soon.

Agreed, bugged maps have no place in corp / tournament matches.

The thing that bothers me most about this unexpected change, is they made it after explicitly receiving feedback that these are bad maps for corp battles, and followed our suggestions to change it. Then they undo that positive change, undoing all that good-will.

Would like some feedback from CCP if possible please.

Any BLUE want to tell us which map will be used for the tournament?

Agreed - makes good sense to remove problem maps and dust effects for the corp battles - if CCP doesn't its a pretty sure bet an event with great goodwill and community-building potential will go bad and have the opposite effect.

Great event planning is all about the execution and the details. Invest in this one CCP, it will win you great community cohesion.

It is also prolly fair to say that this first tourney will be engraved into New Eden history, for better or for worse.
