I'm just curious how often people are needing to use militia gear thanks to skill books and generally low ISK rewards
Just a rough estimate please

Never use them, only at the start of a build but then get out of them asap. |

My most expensive loadout is 18,000 ISK, but I think I've only ran in it maybe 4 times. My main loadouts run between 3000-6000 ISK.
The actual "starter" fits get deleted as soon as I boot up a new build though. |

I only use them when I run out of my main fits which is rare. But I also use them when the maps don't suit my weapon of choice or if I enter an ambush map. |

All the time, but I did purchase the militia BPO's, so most of my setups are zero cost.
That said, I am really bad at this game and I was better I'm sure I'd be moving out of it asap.
The only thing I tinker with is the tactical AR.... love that!

Regularly. My main fit is a sniper IV fit, but there are times I really need an assault rifle, so I hop into the starter fit and move with a group (if possible), because it's much easier to take an objective with a group covering you. |

100% atm (I only started playing this build a few days ago)
But the brutally low ISK rewards and my general lack of FPS skills (not bad, but not great either) mean that I doubt that'll change any time soon. |

I roll with the MAG suits and militia BPO about 95% of the time and only have a few MAG suits with upgraded AR, MD and SL on them. I spend all my cash on dropships, so I roll infantry cheap. I used the dragonfly scout suit till I can upgrade my skills to use the MAG suits. Never touched the milita stock suits. |

About 75% of the time. Saves on isk, most of the time it's enough for decent playing. |

I spent my time upgrading things other than my dropsuit tier so I am still running militia everything (except AV nades). My fit is almost ready.........its a beast but it will cost about 40,000-50,000 to run a single suit. |

Use them almost all the time, militia gear has same stats as standard in most cases, just needs more pg/cpu. I use raven, sever, and dragon fly suits though.
If militia gear with same stats fits, its better then standard due to isk saved. I have spent skills on passive buffs, so I haven't unlocked any better then standard gear besides charge sniper, complex damage mods, and type-ii assault. I have bought the skill books and have 2 million isk, just spent sp elsewhere for passive buffs. |

Well, at least I'm not the only one that primarily uses militia fits >_< I guess if I didn't mess around with vehicles I might have more ISK laying around to have fun with, but between those and skill books I am just way too broke lol. |

I do not have to use my BPO 'Skinweave' dropsuits, but I do simply because, there is little need for me t do so otherwise. It saves on ISK, and time, and I am adept enough to not worry about my skills behind a controller. I could be using the standard 'assault' variant though and still make a profit. I just do not feel the need to do so. |

I only use my skinweave assault (which has a bunch of Militia BPO's on it) when I need some money or have no use for my heavy suits (which is rare). Most of the time if I start out a match in an assault suit i'll end up switching just because of necessity. |

I'm not exactly sure if there is a percentage for how often I use it, as it varies quite a bit. Initially I start off in a starter in battle, then after getting a feel for the team and for the enemy I will start busting out the isk/aurum suits. If I find myself getting owned to much and not getting enough kills I will switch back to the starter.. so it just varies to who and what i'm playing with and against |

I've been using Militia Infinitems since I bought them using my AUR
I'm not part of any Corp so I've not seen any value in wasting my ISK or AUR on higher items ... I've got some saved up, the remainder I use to buy skill books ... those I care about first, and the remainder for those I don't care about |

I'm using them less now, but I'm still using them well over half the time (that I'm not playing in organised squads)
In an organised squad, however, I only use starter fits when the battle is going very badly and we just decide it's best to cut down our spending so we're less likely to lose ISK overall. |

When the Sp reset happens, I use my better gear. But when I hit the Hard Cap on SP's, I switch to militia gear (BPO) and use that to build up my ISK. So basically two phases, one with better gear gets me more SP's, but when I get to the SP cap I go militia to save up ISK until the SP reset happens. |

I'm pretty much hovering around 90% now, I just hate losing my good suits to lag and unpredictable severe frame-rate issues. I can hold my own pretty well, but only if the game is somewhat playable. If I am going to lose a good suit, them it should be my fault, not because I was getting 3 frames-per-second.
I don't think I used one decent suit of mine all last night, in a way it's good as it allows me to get pretty deadly using militia gear, so when I do end up using my good suits I will be even more effective with it.
Once we can sell salvage and once the game is smooth and they fix the lag and frame-rate, the ISK will be fine the way it is. |

Except for the Frontline build, all my starter suits have one or two Standard grade items on them, so they cost me 2k to 7k ISK to run, but it makes enough of a difference that I don't mind it. I've played nothing but those suits, with an average of 1-2 matches per night, and I've finally bought all the skillbooks I need to spec out a decent Standard grade Scout suit for around 22k ISK. Now I'm just trying to build up a stock of that suit. Once I get about 25, I'll start playing it. It will be the first time I've not played a starter suit in Codex. |

100% of the time, starter fits and a low level character makes for a really enjoyable FPS experience, I can't believe this game isn't more popular. |
