So far, I've bought two merc packs and thinking of a third just because..lol. I'm wondering how much AUR some of you vets have accumulated all this time. From what I hear, the ISK rewards were huge before so maybe one didn't need as much AUR.
I've heard some people have accumulated over 100K in AUR so far. What's yours? |

Just forty thousand AUR. If I need more I'll support the game and buy more, but honestly at the moment there is no real need for that much AUR, and once the player market is up everything will be back to balance and ISK will be more worthwhile as it should be. Meaning I can get anything for ISK. Whether it is AUR based or otherwise.

I purchased one of the orignal packs, and the tribute pack for a grand total of 80,000 AUR. I have spent about 10,000 of it so far and i'm a daily player. |

Just 1 Merc Pack
I had planned on not buying any AUR cause its a f2p game, but its become clear especially with this cap its a good idea for the booster, also since they decided to make the Militia BPO's worth AUR then it becomes necessary as that saves quite a bit of ISK.
I hope they dont keep dragging it towards p2w but it seems that way, heard theres BPO's for vehicles worth AUR.. i lol'd. |

I ended up getting a bunch of merc packs prom the PSN+ sale so I've got 6. Know how useful they are right now? Almost not useful at all. Not having to pay for a few odds and ends on my suits might be nice, but at the end of the day I drive vehicles and there are currently no vehicles or vehicle mods that cost AUR. 240k AUR and It doesn't look like I'll end up using it till Launch when there's a market for AUR items. It isn't even worth buying boosters or UVT because everyone I talk to is in corp chat or in my squad, and I've got 6 months of boosters from the packs so there's little point there either. |

Only bought one, never got to use them all before a wipe yet.. so upon release I probably wont even buy more for atleast 2 months. The guys who bought several of them are probably wondering currently ' why the fk did I do this, I can't even spend it all" bright side for them though is they can purchase a good stock of items and cash it out by selling to other players for a decent chunk of isk after release |

145,000 aur, due to buying multiple merc packs so my alts have tribute suits. Haven't spent much, militia BPOs and less then one hundred rifles to use while I train ar op lv3, then use isk version instead.
I plan to buy boosters after launch, close to 6 months covered already. And they will probably have a deal at launch, so I will probably be stocked up for a year soon after launch. |

I've been actually using AUR in junction with ISK and you can really burn through it if you're not careful. I was trying to save ISK for corp skillbooks, etc. Those AUR items come in handy and I've gotten used to using them. I feel like I need another pack.
I know a dude that bought the $99 bundle. I know I can use that much AUR |

LOL! You will find a lot of people doing that! I just hate ISK! Use it for my skill books or donate it to the corp most of the time. I use mostly the highest tier AUR mods and weapons that I can buy!

I bought the merc packs when they where on sale on PSN (50% off) Not so much for the AUR but more for the Dropsuit but mostly the SP-boosters. I can't afford to play 5 hours a day due to real life interfering and all, so that way I can at least get some decent SP in my gaming sessions, and have stocked around 6 months of SP-booster.
I currently try to burn through it on weapons and items just to see what they do and to pass the time til launch. Once launch comes I already know my 'path' so much less AUR is needed. I also plan to be in this for the long run (depending on finished game) thus some extra cash on hand isn't all that bad.
short answer 6 packs |

bingo, once launch hits we will know what we want, when we want, and how we want to get it.. resulting in us using alot less of our aur we stockpile.. I almost burned through my aurum on my first month before wipe, but as each wipe goes on I use way less and less. Since the codex update I have only used like 2500 AUR out of the 40k I have, and wont need to spend anymore for awhile. I might buy one more for an extra 30 day booster.. compared to the current price of 7 day day booster it's a given dropping more cash for another is the better option, but i don't feel I will need that much of a boost after first 2 months of game launch |

3-5 years to come good based of what EvE folks say about the timeline of EvE to become a good game......constant work in progress for years, to achieve a stable polished product....

Got a little over 30K AUR right now, a MERC pack worth and then I got another 10K tonight. All I have spent it on this build are the Carbon T2 suits and 1 each (duh) of all the militia BPOs. Sort of dawned on me that suits and guns are really ALL I need to buy. Helps me save on ISK so I can start flying Dropships, and getting some of those real pricey skill books. |

That's about right actually.
To keep on topic, i've got about 260k AUR, but i've already used over 100k in the last 2.5 weeks since the new build. It's surprisingly easy to burn through it all. |
