Based on the improvement to the core game play elements thus far (or lack of, depending on personal opinion) i'm highly doubtful anything which is core, like lag or framerate, will be fixed anytime soon, more like fixed SoonGäó which means it could be fixed five years from now based on what the eve people say about how slowly ccp implement changes...
But dont worry, thats just ccp and how they do things, and we should just be patient and show faith like the eve people suggest because this is the way of the eve universe....
Im hopeful. But im also a realist.

This game seriously is a joke. I'm not understanding the logic behind having a tournament on a broken game. Devs could as least respond with saying whether or not they have a fix for the lag/frame-rate issues before the tournament goes live. fun. anyway your 16 **** off to bed if you're referring to me i'm actually turning 21 next month. So why dont you put a corp battle up if you want to try and come at me dude. Don't be a bitchass hoe talking on the forums and come see me in game.
I'm 39 in November.
Last night, after getting motivated by Stylie, I jumped on....
First few games - all 1v1 or 1v2.....a joke on maps of this size in Skirmish
Then, get into a "larger" game - 4 vs 4 - and the entire other team camp in the mountains with tactical sniper rifles. My side took all the letters and we won even though we all went negative.
Point being, besides the lag and frame rate issues, there are core game play issues involving player numbers, matchmaking, weapon balance, objective based play, etc that are not progressing in the right direction build to build.
Current build was an improvement on a couple of fronts - that being improved hit detection (possibly due to strafe nerf) and some vehicle rebalance, but on the whole, its still going in the wrong direction in my opinion.
MAG suppression is tons more fun than Dust and that is really saying something.
I hope it gets better, but I'm a realist and I expect that maybe after a couple more patches, that due to commercial arrangements ccp will try to pass this broken game as a AAA console release......sad sad sad
So much hype to live up to, but the word fail keeps coming to mind... |

It pains me to say this, but maybe CCP should have involved Zipper more than they did....
Funny you say that...when Sony shuttered Zipper, CCP should have actively recruited the Zipper folks who worked on MAG....
Even before Zipper was shut, they fired a bunch of folks, MSP being one, CCP should have recruited those people because they were mostly exMAG resources from what I heard.....
Basically, its like this: Zipper covered the FPS aspects very well, but could not do persistence or MMO very well.....
CCP on the other hand, have the metagame, the universe scale and persistence, but just can't translate that into a good FPS experience.....
Basically all we need is MAG game play style with the scale and persistence of the EvE universe.
Is it really that hard? Planetside 2 on the PC is delivering...... |
