I'm struggling with money. I barely scrape by with a GEK-38 with each spawn, but that's all I can muster. How do you money? |

Is there a lot of difference between the militia gun and the GEK-38? |

Not too much. Especially if you haven't trained up skills to support your weapon of choice.
The militia assault rifle has almost no recoil or bullet spread and you can keep it on target fairly easily just holding down the fire button.
The higher tier weapons might give you a slight edge.
However, if you want to use AR you can keep training up your passive skills, ex: Weaponry level 5, assault rifle sharp shooter, and anything that will benefit your character's weapon/ defense no matter if it is militia or GEK-38, proto suit or militia suit. FIght most of your day to day battles in the most affordable gear. Save money and these skills will give the more expensive rifles even more of a boost when you go to use them. |

Unlike previous builds where ISK and SP has been plentiful with everyone running their top gear all of the time, in this build you have to be smart with your income. Your fittings have to be as cheap as possible while still remaining competitive. You have to play smart and take less risks to avoid deaths. How much ISK do you average per battle? 100,000? How many times do you die? 5? Then you're fittings have to cost 20,000 ISK or less in order to remain profitable. The cheaper your fittings and the less you die, the less trouble you'll have with money.
Everyone wants to run the best gear constantly and compete with top level players, but sometimes you simply can't. If you bring your most expensive fittings to battle against top players, expect to lose alot of money. Assess your competition and adapt your strategy per battle.
I played nothing but militia for awhile. After militia, I also used Aurum from my merc pack in order to stay competitive with players as they moved up to better gear. Using the Aurum, i was not spending any ISK and still able to use higher level gear. If you don't have Aurum, just stick with militia longer and play more conservatively. I made a plan, knowing ISK would be important this time around, and now i've got plenty of ISK in the bank to play with and be reckless. When my funds start decreasing I adapt my play style and fittings again.
Joining a corporation of smart players that communicate , stick together and support each other to minimize deaths and maximize kills is always a huge help. Having experienced players to teach you the strategies that keep you out of the newbie traps is very beneficial. |

helps if you have people that revive, as soon as you hit the bleed out button you dumped your gear. |

Bought the Merc Pack, bought all the militia BPOs, and only use items that I have BPOs for. So far I have only used my isk to buy skill books and bank the rest.
Going to have to be VERY smart where you use your consumable gear and EVERYONE should probably buy the merc pack for the BPO SMG and the Aurum to buy BPOs. My KD is .54, but being that I am in militia gear, don't mean a damn thing, zerg to objective A-E. |

Exactly what I do. Militia out while you level your passive skills and bank ISK. As SYST3M pointed out, you have to adapt load outs to fit your needs. I die a TON but I get the SP and ISK I need to keep going (that's all I'm looking to build up right now, don't need to be top of the boards), and I help push my crew to the objectives. Running in squads and learning teamwork will help you immensely! |

Invest in skills. I got way better with the militia AR when I boosted its skill levels. Also check out militia vehicles they are way cheaper than those under the vehicles tab in the market, especially if your trying to fly a dropship. |

Yeah the best way to save isk, is to squad up, get a mic, and coordinate your attacks. If you are running assault then you need to be in a group that can fit an assault. I carry a nanite injector on my assault build, and all my team mates (Minus the heavies) do as well. This allows you to save isk, and with 4 people, you can actually stick together and pick off the strays together.
Its all about team work, work together and you will find you will get much much more isk. I currently have 100 suits, and about 3.8 million isk in the bank. So if you play smart, you will be able to save isk, and fit what you need.
BPO's also help significantly if you have AUR. |

Joking aside, the restock bug eats into your money. I'm in the same boat. Seems sniping and generally just running really cheap stuff is the best way. Or never die. Which is really tough. |
