Probably not with how close we are to launch. Sorta looks like CCP Dev's lost sight of rewarding their Beta testers with events regardless of all we've put up with, and been through.
You could argue though that they are busy working on the final release. Although dealing with a corporation myself, I'm sure there is that one ******* who is fed up with working on this **** and would be more than happy to set up an event. ;-) |

you want another one after the last one? every match that i got into it was lopsided so much it was redlined everytime, couple that with i had to listen to the ******* incessant whiny voice of some american goonswarm bum releshing every moment of a lameass steamroll then i had to endure the feedback thread where everyone lied to the devs and said how brilliant it had been. if they honsetly think that was brilliant we live worlds apart. maybe it's me maybe i set my standards too high. |

Wait a minute, you fought alongside the devs? Cause those brave souls most assuredly got their kittens handed to them.
That was the last beta event I remember...
I am playing this game to steamroll and be steamrolled. I played an Amarr character in some of the last faction npc corporation warfare events and it was brilliant. A brilliant mess. But also invigorating and a breath of fresh air.
So many games really compress the options players have to fail or excel right into the middle of the bell curve.
So yeah, if you show up to a fight with half the guys as the other team and no tanks, you are gonna have a bad time. But In the grand scheme of things, the possibility for steam roll is a very good thing to leave in game. Really, this is what CCP is known for. Leaving it all up to the players.
High sec and null sec are and always should be worlds apart. I hope they stay that way for DUST 514 as well. |

sad thing then, this is where you and me differ, i would rather walk away from a game i lost with teammates that gave their all and had a damn good match than win or force another team to play a 14v10 match

Sorry mate, that's just not guaranteed in this world. Best find more teammates so you can be on the + side of that equation. |

pity the devs seem to think same way ah well. maybe it is just me i dont have that bloodthirsty mob mentality. couldnt enjoy it in eve either. |
