The thought occurred that some people might want fully fitted vehicles, ect ect. Nothing stopping you from using eBay for example to sell stuff to others? This must have come up in EvE already... I'm assuming it's legit. Pay to win argument solved. Could CCP make some easy cash by letting us flog each other gunloggi's? AUR auction house? $$$ auction house?
Are there already EvE sites offering these dubious services? I'm fairly open minded. Anything that keeps UVT's cheap enough for everyone to haz chatz |

That sounds like real-money trading (rmt for short). According to CCP's policy or terms of service for Eve Online, rmt is illegal and a it is a banable offense in which you receive no warning. More than likely, knowing how CCP is towards rmt in general, they might apply the same policy onto DUST. |

not true i came back from a long hiatus in eve to find a warning placed on one of my accounts for the purchase of 200 million isk (dunno if it's still on there, i asked for it to be removed) but the gm's didnt have enough brains between them to work out that a person who donates 3 plexes to some releif effort CCP had at the time doesnt go out buying 200million isk on an account that had many billions on. |

The main issue you'd get with being able to sell items for real cash in game means it would have to be taxed and it would also stop CCP from allowing things like scamming in game.
If the items in game are not worth anything in terms of real money, they can make up any rules they like but if the items suddenly have an actual real world value on them and be taken out of game they suddenly have to adhere to certain laws.
With PLEX in EVE, because it's Real money > In game item you can do what you like with it but if it became Real money > PLEX> Back to real money you wouldn't be able to steal them in game as it would be protected by some very specific laws, Blizzard have been having similar issues with Diablo 3 and people stealing etc. |
