CCP, please listen to me. At some point you need to give out 1 million sp again. And fix corp battles to 3 objectives or 16v16. I don't care which. The reason is you can't be doing balance changes when no one has skill points and you don't have any high level play in which to balance the game.
What if Starcraft 2 was balanced around bronze league play. It just doesn't work they balance it around hw the pros are playing. And while we do not have pros in this game yet. I think CCP should start only making balance changes based off of how weapons and balance work in corp battles. Because when you have 16v16 and everyone is on mic and everyone has plans and work together, it will be a completely different game.
So far outside of exploit closing nerfs, a lot of weapon nerfs and such have been based more on forum posts whining about dropships being OP, or Some other nonsense. Lets leave that up to organized play to decide if dropships and such are overpowered or not.
Dust is about to enter a radical stage of development as corps start to work together and people start to get up to higher sp counts. I hope CCP will improve corp battles and give us some bonus sp to play with soon. Because right now I love the sp gain rate, I think it's awesome, but for testing purposes.... it's a pain. What am I suppose to test when the game is running in release speed but I'm going to get wiped in 3-4 weeks.
PLEASE think about increasing the sp gain again, JUST FOR BETA. We need more sp so corp battles can give you valuable feedback. |

Your first mistake was thinking forum posts directly translate to nerfs; they do not.
Your second mistake was thinking the balancing process between an RTS and an FPS are the same; they are not
You third mistake was not putting bacon anywhere in your post. |

The balancing changes are not only based on player feedback but also on the metrics that are gathered from their test server. But I do agree that we should have more SP only for the beta so that we can test out better equipment and stuff already. Once we hit launch we can then revert back to what we have now.

Not to mention mods. I heard ppl kittens about DS being to fast now. But what about webifiers. This whole nerfing before all variables are counted is getting crazy. Give us all the equiptment upon release and let us ride this out for awhile and see what happens. Then make changes. I've been agreeing with this since at least the beginning of last build. |

Lies the balancing process for any copetive game has to revovle balance around competitive play. You know what other games do this? Eve online and GW2. You don't balance your game around casuals, deal with it.
also all balance changes up to this point have been based on random verus random verus a few organized players. That is not a correct environment for testing balance. Also this game is very RTS like. The new build will have an RTS view and placeable buildings. |

yup that's the change. IT didn't make sense to change that when they didn't have organized players with lots of skill points in AV. On the other hand tanks need to be more fully skilled to get any real testing done.
Maybe CCP should give us all like 4 million sp, or all skills to 5 for a week or two before release once everything is in game. |

Told that a hundred times.... especially regarding all the HAV whining last build... Although for once, we have a nerf that can't be discussed lol. Precision strike having a way too low WP requirement. That doesnt need competitive testing ^^ |

Well to be fair in our corp matches we can get 4 strikes in the 1st 4 minutes :P With 2 per squad lol. I like giving the barge limited ammo, or removing it completely, and making it eve ships only. |
