Nope, I'm not suggesting jabbing some fallen comrade with a needle so they can see rainbows and flying elephants with tiny wings. I'm suggesting an advanced (lvl V) nanite injector that for maybe 30 seconds or until its next death switches the side of a fallen opponent you poke. Write it off as temporary mind control/confusion if you want. but for both sides imagine the possibilitys for either support or espionage. You run the risk of having him on your side to take down a few folks, but you also run the risk of having him drive a vehicle that will fly off the edge of a cliff while you are a passenger in it.
Rip it apart if you want, or just let it fall to the bottom of the forums. It is just a random idea. :P |

"Brain Hacking V" . . . not bad idea IMO:)
at a high level make it so you can sneak up from behind on living players perhaps and grapple with them to hack into their suits -- alternative to stabbing them with a nova knife. perhaps the most advanced skill available in CQB.
turns the enemy player onto your side for some amount of time. very interesting.
level 1, can hack downed enemy players [they can 'o' suiide/clonejump to escape if they realize what is happening. level 2, faster hack on downed enemy player. level 3, faster and longer lasting hack on downed enemy player. . . . level 5, unlocks: can sneak up from behind and hack living enemy players.
EDIT: for Lore, make it so you aren't injecting or drugging them, but hacking into their suit electronics. So the suit registers enemy as friendly and friendly as enemy, blue turns red and red turns blue. After a period of time, the suit purges the invasive code and resets it's firmware back to normal.
All this could interestingly backfire, as a blue enemy could freely infiltrate your base, wait for the effect to wear off, then suddenly turn red in the middle of your installation and unleash his HVMG; Unless your own players recognized him as an interloper-- "hey who's the new guy?" "keep an eye on that one. . ." |

Interesting twists.. hmm. either way I like the risky double sided uses of such a tool in a FPS. |

The only problem with this idea is that when nanite inject the player, he will know about the nanite drug injector because of the new feature that has been announced all over the marketplace and forums. He would just shoot anyone in his path along the way after you nanite inject him so it is a lose, lose. On the bright side, it's a pretty good idea for the new survival feature coming up. CCP should think about it and might add the feature to the survival feature. You'll never know when it could come in pretty handy... BOSSES :P |

I think it's a great idea. Kind of like a KZ3 thing.
