SIMPLE solution to fix WP farming/boosting

To prevent earning WP or boosting/farming just make it so you can't repair damage OR can't earn WP by repairs to a vehicle etc that was self/squad/team inflicted. This simple fix would prevent the onslaught of precision strikes/orbital bombardments. No need for too many ridiculous tweaks to prevent farming, too many tweaks to keep the noobs happy will break this game.

So what happens if you are out in the field and have sustained damage from enemy attacks, you manage to escape by the skin of your teeth, albeit by crashing into some obstacles in your panic to save your beloved vehicle. The last damage received would be registered to you, the player, rendering you or your team-mates incapable of making repairs. I know you can apply repair modules to vehicles but when you are first starting out the expense is too great.

Simple idea ? yes. And there's a big difference.

I think you miss understood me. It stops farming for wp inside the safe zone and on these big maps there are plenty of safe places to hide and repair. It's an idea I feel is echoed across the forums. If you repair in the safe zone you just don't get the wp points for the 'repair' you still get your kill wp...

I meant that if you got damaged while killing enemies/providing other support to your team, you shouldn't be punished by repairing in "wrong" place. It's too artificial. You want to repair in the most safest place on a map. It's a natural instinct. Here is my idea in the other thread.

SP and ISK is what repairs actually wants. WP is only intermediate points which reflect how much SP/ISK you get.
