I find it a bit difficult to drive an lav with the right analog stick . I know it would be unfair to ask you all to completely change the default LAV control scheme but could you guys at least add a control scheme that allows for the right analog stick to deal only with direction and have something else deal with acceleration? Thank you |

i already made a post about this and it just vanished into the ether...
no one seems to care, I myself find it awkward to use a single stick for throttle and steering and would prefer something similar to Borderlands, one stick controls throttle, other stick controls direction. |

I agree if its going to be awkward dont make it ridiculous. its gotten to the point where i dont even want to drive the lav which is a tactical disadvantage |

I prefer the way it is,
so that one stick controls speed/direction, the other stick lets you look around for situational awareness. . .
but it would be nice to have the option to drive with either control scheme.

This needs to be higher up so it gets seen...
some DEV input would be nice, will we have the option to choose different control layouts in General Release? or in a future beta build to test functionality? |

Agreed. I wanted to plow my SP into LAV's but the horrible one stick control totally turned me off ever being interested in the vehicle part of the game. Sadly it looks like im going to be a groundpounder for life.

If you have 2 passengers in your vehicle then surely they are your situational awareness support. At the moment the passenger is indeed just that but perhaps should be given 360 degree vision, so he can be your eyes on the battlefield while you concentrated on driving and the gunner can keep gunning, Of course this all becomes pointless as soon as anyone in the vehicle has no mic... |
