As a student, I tend to play on Friday/Weekends for a grand total of maybe 5 hours, but I'm seeing so many people complaining about the SP cap, it made me wonder. How often are you guys playing Dust- especially those of you that manage to gain such unfathomable amounts of SP? Or is it more of a skill thing? |

I play a couple hours a day, every day.
And I am fairly happy with the SP Cap.

I'm also a Student but I have two days off midweek and the weekend off. So I can spend easily 20 hours a week playing DUST and then settle down and do some coursework :D |

I used to play every day, now I might play once or twice a week for an hour or so. I don't know...it's just RL stuff, and the fact that it feels like I've already done everything there is to do (which I know isn't true). I still have no desire to grind up to proto suits, and it just feels like there isn't all the much wiggle room with with dropsuit / vehicle fittings. You have a couple options, the rest is just stupid or not possible thanks to PG/ CPU restrictions.
All the suit classes feel the same for the most part, with no clear advantages between each suit. I've played every kind of suit, and used all kinds of weapons, the only thing I haven't done is HAVs. Dropships used to be really fun, now they're just a pain to fund and far too easy to kill.
I still love the game, it just feels like I've been doing the exact same thing since June, and I'm getting a bit bored. |

Every night from 2 to 7 hours. It may be that I skip those final SP capped days of the week from now on (getting some sleep!=)
How I feel about the cap? Well diminishing returns is GREAT to have and ESSENTAIL to the long term sensibility of the Dust514. It should be strong and to kick in after 3-4 games each day - but still I'm opposed to absolute hard cap. As I mentioned before, I'm in favor of 24h or 48h cycle in diminishing returns. |

pretty rarely myself
about 4-5 hours yesterday and today, but other then that, there was about 3 days I didn't play, and other days just 1-2 hours
I'm trying not to get burnt out like I did 2 builds ago ... even with little game time, I'm over 900,000 SP right now ... it's not as high as others I know, but the passive SP gain seems to really help for people who want to keep up with a busy life style. Currently get between 6,000 - 16,000 SP a match ... the later is only if I do really good ... not that often |

You'll get it in no time with teamwork and with squad leader who assigns order and squads following it. |

I would and could play more, but I prefer to "not" burn myself out on a [beta]. I probably play an hour or two every other day, or atleast an hour day every week. Sometimes three in one night if I am up for it, and some of the B.S. that comes with it all. Otherwise when I am home at night and playing on my console I am usually playing Fallout3 (again) or it's being used a jukebox. |
