Amusing exchange over voice tonight:
(Someone): "Lots of people have mics next to them... why is nobody talking? Anybody? Hello? Why is nobody talking?"
Me: "Because I can't get push-to-talk working and I'm too busy being shot at!"
(Someone else): "...well said!"
Anyway, I can't get PTT working. Mic works, as demonstrated by that exchange; works just fine if I turn PTT off, but then I flood everybody with unnecessary noise (incidentally, thanks to whoever left their mic open in that match... not annoying at all...  )
The symbol next to my name in chat looks like a headset with red cross next to it, and doesn't change when I push the talk button (left on the D-pad, correct? Or 'Z' on my keyboard?). If I turn PTT off, it changes to a headset without a cross, until I talk at which point it goes green (and people can hear me).
Am I doing something wrong? Could this be related to me using both a controller and a keyboard? |

z on keyboard didnt work last build. people were putting the controller on the floor and using their toes on the d pad. and from the state of mouse support im betting keyboard push to talk didnt get fixed.
maybe they broke the push to talk on the d pad too. |

have you ever got voice chat to work as it's way more complicated than it should be.
I've tried using the D-pad on the controller and Z on the keyboard, neither seem to work. Haven't tried both at once.
As I say, voice chat works fine when I turn PTT off, I'd just prefer not to flood people with noise from my mic... |

yeah i edited my post when i read that you had it working on open coms. sorry can't help. are you turning on squad or team voice as you get into a game? |

D-Pad works for me but keyboard Z still does not enable PTT.
I'm using a Logitech G11 keyboard if its a compatibility issue. |

Logitech G510 here and I can confirm the left d-pad works for PTT but the Z key doesn't. Neither does pushing the left arrow key on the keyboard which is supposed to be the same as d-pad left |

I also have no PTT working on keyboard and mouse, never tried with controller, but this is in all channels as far as I am aware. One person once was all "TURN ON PTT it works now stop breathing" and being grumpy so I assume it partially works on say controller. |
