As such, the Guide describes them as a sort of Freedom Fighter militia focused on liberating the galaxy...from something. In all honesty we don't completely understand their outlook at this point but we do know that for some odd reason they remind us of age-old classic technology.
To be honest, I have NO idea where they got the idea that we are freedom fighters, thats just pulling random BS out of the air and reporting this as news, once again, dusters and GNN show that they have no real skill for reporting and when we refused to give them an interview, apparently they decided to make this crap up. If anything, the only thing we want to "liberate" is money. We are mercenaries. We dont fight for the little guy, we dont fight for ideals, we fight for our benefits. There's confusion about the whole GNN thing at the moment, which GNN did you refuse an interview to?.. The Dustmercs site that uses GNN on twitter or the GNN website that has no twitter?..
Why did you refuse them an interview? |

Ah, you're talking about the ****** Dustmercs blog. I see.
I'd like to see that site loose all its traffic if i'm honest and send it towards TM.com.
Did you see the horrid article they did on us with all the spelling mistakes etc? |

Check this out, not only are my quotes from another site taken out of context but what was said by a Goonwaffe diplomat from EVE who has nothing to do with out Dust antics was turned into an entire article to try and create issues for us and did nothing other than increase interest in the game from our recruitment pool at SA.

I have nothing against the goons, i actually have a lot of respect for them. It seems to me that players from dust 514 who never played eve are in 2 camps, the one that think they are cool uber baddies, and the ones who think they are horrible, devil incarnate plague. The latter being what i imagine the dustmercs posters seem to think.
Anyway, Cerebral Wolf, i got your interview questions, ill be bringing them up to the upcoming betamax board meeting.
Thanks i look forward to doing the interview and starting to pull all the articles together to give people a overall "Feel" of whats going on in Dust right now without breaking the NDA.
The 2 camps of people who are Pro or Anti goon pretty much seem to be everywhere, people either love us or loath us. |

All of these sites are like those fake magazines you get in line at a grocery store, they have about as much credibility too. IMO, we should all stop with the interviews and hope these guys die off like the dinosaurs. The only way for a site like that to work, is for them to not be associated with any corp or alliance. Then you could be bi-partial and give creditable news. Until then its a joke, which after seeing some of their articles you kinda get that impression.
Me? I've only been involved with TM.com for a week so i'm unsure how that happened, especially considering the only piece of mine that's been published thus far was an introductory piece for EVE players.
I fail to see how you can even have an issue with that and even more than that, it's unfair for you to lump me with everyone else and assume that the stuff i write is going to be bias towards anyone at all as you've clearly not seen anything i've writted that could even be considered bias as there;s nothing out there yet.
I also fail to see what your issue is with a major EVE news site wanting to show an interest in whats going on in Dust and working out who is who and how Dust will Effect EVE, its in your interest to get as much coverage and interest in Dust as possible is it not? |

Not to mention that the articles from my end will drop off significantly once i've had a chance to chat with the people i consider important enough to chat to.
