FREE-FOR-ALL is a great game mode, and I really enjoy it because it puts emphasis on single player skill. Furthermore, FFA requires a balanced combination of timing, awareness, and gungame. The best part of FFA is that it is supported by a large player base of casuals, and in order for any FPS to be successful you must have a strong casual player base. In previous DUST interviews, many spokesman's have put emphasis on how DUST can be pick-up and play shooter, what better way to do this then implementing a FFA GAME MODE 
Personally, I am tired of carrying the team in my PROTO-KNAPSACK. The other day I went 42-1 in AMBUSH and lost the game WTF. I would really enjoy the game more if there was a game mode more oriented around personal skill |

No NPC or EVE player is going to hire just one merc to fight a bunch of other mercs. This kind of thing belongs in the Gladiator Arena E-sports. |

Read the post. Causal gammers aren't going to play e sports, and by the time e sports do arrive this game will be dead.

well, depends.
if there is betting on who would win it could turn into a horse racing event where eve players place bets on who would win the combat.
the victor gets a portion of the winnings. |

Disagree.
Why? because not only new players are going to want to participate. It will rapidly, almost immediately, become a proving ground for high-SP players to see who is the best killer.
New Players would just get farmed.
and New Players need to learn teamwork, not Lone Wolf Deathmatch Superstar. There is enough of that going around already, as is.
Let the Gladiator 1vs1 Stuff be for those who have already paid the dues of playing on a team and shown themselves to stand out from the rest.
Also, let there be 4vs4 Squad Arenas as well, with Named Teams. Allow teams to register independently of Corporations and compete.
Fame and Fortune and all that. |

I like this idea, but it would have to be completely randomized. Why? Because otherwise every single fight would be rigged for quite a bit of ISK, I'd imagine. Make it a sort of one-on-one gladiator thing, with no vehicles and limited spawning. |

I nominate myself to be the judge of the matches. at the end when someone is down, I would be like "thumbs down biotch!" and then give the winner a HMG and watch the carnage...... o boy! |
