Ok so in game voice chat is on push to talk is off I have tried with ports forward and dmz and withouth ports forwarded and dmz. My xmb says my mic is working and it works in every other game I play. I have activated voice in the channel I want to speak in. Now if it was my mic that was not compatable I should still hear people talking when i activate voice in the channel I want to speak in. Thru my television which I do not I have posted many times about this problem where I am directed to mail support. When I mail support they tell me to post on forums and then they mail me amd tell me my problem has been solved and direct me to the eve online foeums to take a survey. It seems like I am just getting the run around since its been almost two months now and forums tells me to mail support support tells me to post in forums. |

Ohh yea and IRC is a joke they do not help with technical issues so I mean honestly it's kinda useless unless you have so much time on your hands that you wanna sit in a chat room and discuss boosting and spawning issues which is a problem but I mean hey thats just my opinion. To solve the boosting tho can't you just put a points cap that a person gets for repairing the same vehicle i mean then they will keep spawning vehicles but it would slow it down a lot

IF you're using the PS3 official mic, then there's a slider on the back left, which will adjust other player voices and such.
IF you're using a fancy mic, there should be something similar.
IF you're not using the above, I can't help you. |

I may be wrong, but believe you can only talk in squad, or team, unless you purchase the uvt and activate it for each character that you want to use voice chat with. That will allow you to use voice in other channels.
But if you are not able to use voice in squad or team while in a match... then you have a problem and it is unfortunate you are stuck in and endless run around trying to get it sorted.
As a non tech person I would try a different headset/ mic and see if you can at least get something to work. SInce there could always be unexpected issues with particular brands, etc. |

You need a Universal Voice Transmitter if you want to talk in Corp chat, I believe. Have you tried joining a Squad and asking people who you know have mics on if they can hear you? A lot of people don't use mics/don't have voice chat on so they couldn't answer you. |

You don't need it for corp or squad chat. However, you need it for team and chat room chat. |

Oh, and nobody understands your problem CLEARLY. State it in one sentence with all grammar and essential problems correctly within it, because I don't understand your EXACT problem. |

Not a lot of people use mics right now. I rarely hear people using voice chat and I know mine works. Are you in game right now? |

So basically, you hear nobody and nobody hears you. Ah, well that's a completely different problem then. |

Yea if you still can't hear people who you know are talking even with the mic off, then it isn't limited to the mic. I'd go into your sound settings for the game and make sure they're all what they should be. Can you hear anything at all? If you can, then it makes me think you just have voice chat turned off. |

If you read first post you would see all of my settings are correct in game and out and yes all volume levels are up with the dialogue up to 100 and still no voice thru headset or tv |

You realize that people are only talking when the little bubble is green right? There is a white bubble that I think means they have it activated but aren't talking, and a white bubble with a red X mark that means they have it activated but can't talk. if you're in-game right now we could test it out.
Also, what mic are you using? |

And still nothing no voice comms thru my my headset or tv and no one that can fix it cares a simple thing like chatting in game it is amazing how much not being able to talk to the other people really changes playing a game. Never had and or have any problems with voice comm in any other games three different people have tried to help and all say the same thing. That the problem is not on my end so there is only one place to look for the blame. |
