When it was single shot it was too hard to use, now that it actually is full auto there is a reason to use it, its a nice weapon and there is in no way that it is OP mr whiners, I actually finally felt like I had a chance for once instead of being picked off like trash, so Id say keep it because I just first hand tested it and it works well, there is no reason for a single shot assault rifle. We have snipers for the single shots. |

I don't think its OP, I can't use it myself because I use up the magazine too fast before I can get a kill. I still think there should be a single fire assault rifle on the market though, if CCP is keeping it this way, they should add a new variant. |

the magazine is a bit small but I was able to kill four people, its all in your fitting you just need to armour up :3c |

I disagree, I think the tact rifle is now kind of useless that its auto, it defeated its uniqueness.
Single shot maybe was a bit too little, but honestly a double shot would of been fine with it (as burst is apparently more then a 3 shot anyways, correct me if im wrong).
This is a subjective thing though i suppose, but the point of the tact in the previous build was to pick off people at a distance, it could even serve as a counter-sniper weapon when you get within range. Now its just not as effective in that range role as an automatic. With the low magazine capacity and on full auto its just a confused weapon, doesnt actually have a purpose. |

Actually I get most kills with the tac rifle and have been killed by it, snipers should be countering other snipers, infantry should be playing their role, if its going to be an assault rifle it should just be auto. Now seeing how your having so much trouble, have you built your stats correctly?

no. just no. Tac AR needs to be single shot.
You are talking about a basic-level weapon that outputs prototype-level DPS. that, my friend, is broken.
If the basic tac rifle were a prototype gun, then I wouldn't have as much problem with it. But it's not. In fact, it has an even MORE powerful prototype variant. In the words of Scooter (Borderlands), it's "more busted than my mama's girl parts".
People who use the Tac rifle this build are, IMO, no better than people who SP Boost. |
