The first day i ranked up shields and basic skills the next few days ive been saving sp and cant afford a skill book how do they expect people not to loose interest in this if you cant advance past one or two days playing?

It could take months, if not years to get all the gear. Basically, the players who do not lose interest will be able to get the gear, and those that lose interest will not be able to get the gear. I hope. I really want something to work for.
If we can all get the gear in a few weeks, I'll probably lose interest... |

thats also why its important to figure what you want to do and what you are good at, best suggestion when starting off is do the 1x skills, as it will give you a boost and help you kill/survive longer which will give you more SP, id you sink SP into the big skills straight away ur progress will take longer |

It's supposed to take you years to progress your character. The number they gave for what they'd expect at release to max a character is seven years of play. That's from the Fanfest. So yeah, it takes a while. If that isn't okay, Dust may not be for you. They plan on supporting Dust for many years. |
