DUST Search - Are WP farmers/boosters hurting the rest of their teams more than just the obvious?

I believe you are on to something. The fact that CCP is staying quiet on this is the most problematic for me. Whether it's a beta or not, if they don't address exploits and with immediacy it's a problem. I've heard in EVE CCP cracks down on exploits. DUST is starting to feel like the red-headed step-child of this family.

Address this CCP.

Imho that is also a problem. They release new builds just before weekends and vacation times, meaning there are no one around to take care of major issues, like this. I'm still hoping the cheaters are paving their own way to perma-bans. In the EVE universe, which the DUST is a part of, using exploits for gain unwittingly means the gains are taken, within reason. Using them KNOWING they are exploits always result in a ban.

Exploits in EvE where not fixed instantly, they sometimes studied problem awhile to find best fix rather then fastest fix. They also declare it an exploit, if they don't then sandbox allows it. This farming seems to be very damaging, so it should be an exploit. It seems to be dropping the number of active testers/players more then the hard crashes last build, CCP will be able to tell better then me of course. I don't blame the farmers, it's not declared an exploit yet, and it is better to have it pop up now then when in open beta or after launch. Perma-ban for something without warning would be bad, ccp needs to say stop it first. CCP will perma-ban if it needs to, search for eve operation unholy rage, quote from dev blog about it. "During scheduled downtime on June 22nd a little over 6200 paying accounts were banned in one go."

If not in those exact words, there were a number of threads closed/locked yesterday, all with the same CCP DEV message, that this were a known problem, and they were looking to fix it.

I just leave battles when I warriors on my side as I know they payout will be poor and we'll likely lose. We should all do that.

So, if they keep doing all means ban them, as long as they are warned first. Some of the warriors are actually good, but they are to busy farming this build. Maybe now they'll stop farming and play the game, it will take them quite a while to fix their reputation.
