Alright, I'll be straight forward ... I'm no leader
I got a mic, yeah ... but my memories of mag are filled with many underlings dead at my command (or lack of followed commands) so I'm pretty much going to be a ground infantry until I max out those skills and maybe go off a different way, maybe heavy or something.
So yeah ... it be nice to have a auto setting so that when I join a fight, I'm not auto assigned squad lead without knowing it. I'm just a grunt ... nothing more, nothing less. Point me where to go, and I'll die on my way, hopefully taking a few with me. |

Hm. Well I have been bringing up MAG a lot, but I have to again. They could and probably should implment some various priorities that would allow for the proper choice such as having an [On] mic -- being one such priority. MAG also had the ability to hand over your position to someone else. Again very helpful.
I'm unsure if you ever played MAG, but these are just basics of what was implmented to help in choosing a SL (Squad Leader). |

I played mag for a while, but Raven was ... well ... probably still is a group people mocked ... strange since in the Beta, we were the feared ones =/
But yeah ... I remember at first, mic wasn't a requirement, it was just chosen. and you could give away command like you currently can in Dust, but the problem is people check once then don't check again ... you don't get a HUD message to tell you you've been given command so even if I give it away, the next person may not realize it either ... same situation at the end =/ |

Which is a good idea if you ask me. I would certainly love to know when I am SL. Especially since I cannot seem to get into a lobby. Checking while on the battlefield is tedious. |
