The game simply wont load every time anymore.
Sometimes after waiting around 5 mins I can actualy get in the game but then it wont always let me laucnh into a game.
Other times I cant get past char selection it just sits on the infinate loading screen.
I turned off all **** downloads and even siwched off all other computers in the house.
50mb connection.
Fat boy old style PS3
Only played about 10 hours of deadspace 2 and the rest of the time in the dust beta so its not like its had a long hard life.
Am I alone in this or does anyone have any ideas.

Also on a roughly 50 Mbps connection with an original launch 60GB fatboy. Mines had a fairly rough life. At any rate, i have certainly had the issue you speak of. There have been times i've started up and gotten stuck on an infinite load screen after character selection. This hasn't happened to me in a long time though
I have never gotten passed the loading and startup only to be unable to launch into a game, however. That's unusual. Unless you are speaking of the "getting stuck on waiting for battle or waiting for deployment screen and never actually deploying" bug. That happens, but itsn't related to your startup issues, i don't believe. |

Could be 2 issuse getting confused I guess.
I havent had this problem at all before and now I do yet you had this problem and now you dont. Whats changed for each of us I wondor. |

Yes, the launching into a battle issue begins around 9pm Eastern time and continues on for a few hours. Then it seemingly disappears and launching isn't a problem anymore. Must be associated to server load. I was up very late last night into the early morning playing by myself and i got into a battle instantly, every single time. Low server load i presume.
As for the infinite load startup, i'm not too sure what could be causing our difference in results.I suppose it could be a corrupted installation or connection based since it's after character selection. Makes it hard to pinpoint. For me, Codex starts up just fine every time, never getting stuck in the startup faze. About halfway through Precursor is when i had the problems of the game not loading up consistently. I assumed it was fixed with Codex and it's a shame you're experiencing the problem now.
