On at least 4 occasions with 3 different SL's (we all run together, shuffle SL around) while Squad Members have been able to join battles together the Squad Leader will be stuck in Merc HQ.
SL is also unable to join battle in progress after the squad has joined forcing everyone to leave to try again. |

Yep. Had this. Also had it so after backing out the whole team got stuck in waiting for deployment. |

Yep, unfortunately this issue has been around for a long time. It's not always the SL either; it could happen to any member of the squad.
Many people seem to have their own little rituals to try to prevent these things, so i'll give you mine, but it may or may not actually help.
Anytime you change the squad leader or someone gets a disconnect of any kind, try having everyone leave that squad and have the new leader create the new squad and send invites. In my experience the issue tends to happen more often when a new leader has been promoted or a player has disconnected at some point in the lifetime of that squad. Not making any promises.
If that doesn't work i suggest you turn to black magic or possibly an exorcism of your PS3. Could work just as well as. |

Yea, that one sucks too. The moment the notification changes from "waiting for battle" to "Waiting for deployment" is typically a time of great celebration......accept for when that's as far as you ever get. We've gotten into the habit of giving the deployment message 3-5 seconds, and if it doesn't launch into a game we cancel the queue and try again. Sometimes you'll do it 10+ times, but eventually you'll get into a battle, hopefully with the rest of your squadmates in tow. |
