This is a new issue with Codex I never experienced with the previous build.
When you come into physical contact with another player you often get "stuck" on each other, for lack of a better term. When a player-on-player collision occurs, you will both have trouble moving. The game appears to stutter or lag as you both attempt to get passed each other. Typically, both players have to back away and change direction drastically in order to move away from each other. In most other FPS games when you encounter another player you usually just sort of slide around each other. I never payed attention to how the player collision worked in the previous build, but it certainly did not have this issue. This issue creates an extremely frustrating and awkward "dance" when two players attempt to pass each other in a hall or doorway or when multiple players try to hack an objective. |
