last build, when i deleted my primary character, i was able to reassign my merc pack items to my new character. This time, i put my items on my reset character, then realized that i wasn't given the option of deciding my default skills ( since they added the artificer {which is more to my liking}). so i deleted and started a new character ( thinking that i would, again, be able to reassign my merc pack items).... whoops! apparently that was one of the changes made. now i'm out the items i (not only paid for, but) need to get a jump start on the new build. booo!.. how can i get my items back?
if there were a way to transfer items, this would not be a problem (like the contracts in eve) |

I thought maybe the items would come back after downtime.... nope. How do I get my merc pack back?! |

Positive you are wrong. Only if there is a reset (new patch) do the items come back. If you delete a character with them they are gone (in fact it even states that on the item selection screen).
I did this twice on the last 2 builds with that result. If you did get your items back last time without a reset, good luck to you. But it shouldn't have happened.
Edit: Final release, if not before, item trading will be in, but at present its a bit irritating. All those nice looted items that can't be used or sold  |
