Something needs to be done about this ability. I just got out of a match where one guy called down over 20 orbital stikes in a span of 2 minuets. There should be some type of cool down timer because all this guy did was that one thing and got over 30 kills and no deaths. I like how it works and am not calling that into question but that is WAY to over powered with no timer. You might as well let him fly the battle barge and let him fire it. |

A cool down timer is the way to go, now the question is do you only do this for the warbarges or will the cool down timer then also count for your eve partners. |

i say make OB and PS cost half your squads earned sp so people wont want to use it as much only to help open up objectives or take care of a mass of troops |

Well I say a timer for all of it, hell make it a skill you need to train in and as you get the skill higher your timer is reduced, but i would say make it so 1 min between strikes is the minimum, maybe 2-5 mins without the skill fully trained. |

That actually sounds really good, lvl 1 5 min - lvl 5 1 min. I could live with that. But you do know that everybody will be training this skill then right of the bat and it will still be the same. Maybe they should limit it to a designated amount of strikes depending on the game mode that you are playing

If timer/cooldown only is applied it just goes to point when you know that there will be PS/OB EVERY 30s or 1 min.
Make it cost 10-15 times more wp to get one. Plus that cooldown. |

Taken from another thread (actually seen this listed in a few places now)
OB/PS spam solution.
1. Raise the WP needed to 2700 (aprox double what it is now)
2. Do not allow use of a strike to contribute to earning another strike. (( This one is key ))
3. Make strike kills award "kill assists" to all squad members, including squad leader (remove the current system were it awards kills but only to squad leader). |

well if you make the skill a X12 skill then it will take a while before you get it to the one min timer, also make it so you have to get another skill to lev 3, lets say something like Squad Leader skill or Command, and make that a x6. that in conjunction with the increase in cost will only see it used by people that want to be leader. Also as a side not you can make it so in order to get the EVE player's help you need to have the Orbital Strike skill at Rank 3. Make them work for it. |
