I earned just over 1000 wp playing skirmish (our team got DESTROYED) but I couldn't call anything in. I'm sure the match I played before that I earned less points yet I could call one in, so I'm a bit confused. |

id like to know as well, iv gotten a orbital strike when i was a one man squad but never have been able to get one again even when i have 3 other squad members, iv asked some ppl in game and they said an orbital strike is about 5000 WP. |

I'd like to know that reqs. for these as well. I'd also like to know that I am looking in the right place when I try to use them. I'm guessing it should be a option on the overview map when they are available but I have yet to see one. Even after seeing the pop up "Orbital Strike authorized for squad leader use" I can't seem to find them. |

You have to be squad leader. Hit right on the Dpad. select orbital bombardment, etc.
I thought you were asking about what needed to be done on the battlefield.
I would've answered... "walk 10 meters, earn a strike" |

i think an OBS is around 500 points
thats just a guess as most WP ive earned in a match was alittle over 2000 and that netted me 4 OBS
2 orbital strikes and 2 precission strikes to be more accurate guessing but i think they alternate |

yes u have to be squad leader and use ur squad comands ( hold R2 to open orders wheel) |

Ok, so I just finished a game of skirmish. I quit the squad I started with and created my own to become the squad leader. I earned 875wp and there was no orbital strike for me to use. So what am I missing here?
It's frustrating when the enemy team seems to have plenty of them and the team you are on doesn't seem to be using any. |

The points for an orbital strike are accumulated over a whole squad. Don't know how many WPs you need, though, and that is intentional. But I think they are missing a '0' in the latest build. It can't be on purpose that they happen so frequently. |
