I don't know if i'm just frustrated because mouse sensitivity is completely messed up right now, or am I the only one who thinks a charged sniper rifle should one shot scouts and assault, especially at close range... I mean I can understand not one shottig assaults but i'm tired of hitting another scout with a fully charged shot and not killing them.
With that gun you don't get a chance at a second shot... takes WAY to long to charge and by the time it is they have run away or they spotted you and bull rushed your position.
I'm also tired of taken people down to 10% then having someone kill them 15 seconds later and I get no assist credit. |

The sniper riffles seem ok to me. They do plenty of damage.
Your last complaint however, is perfectly valid. I've taken someone down a lot, and they get killed shortly after, with me getting no assist points. |

I think my qqin will subside once my mouse sensitivity is fixed, and once i get a new drop suit with adequit CPU and PG to support a better rifle that allows me to shoot someone a second time before they run away or take cover. |

Use an assault suit with two militia light weapon damage mods in the high slots and you'll be abile to OHK everyone but a heavy. |

right now the mouse sensitivity adjuster doesn't work. Mouse sensitivity is the same on 0 as it is on 100. |

Not necessarily. Before that was true, but this build the +dmg from Weaponry is reduced to 2%, and the +dmg from Sniper Rifle Operation was swapped for the reduced sway from Sniper Rifle Proficiency, while also reducing the bonus damage from 5% to 3%. So, at max, sniper rifles will be doing 15% less damage than they previously did, which is enough to take them out of the one-shot-kill range for many people wearing assault suits.
Overall, though, an excellent change. Last build I was a strong advocate for a sniper rifle nerfing. While I still think they could have done more, we'll see how it goes this build anyway. With hopefully few if any non-scout, non-headshot people being instantly killed, it could be a vast improvement with just the reduced damage. |

I'm okay with headshots being one-hit-kill, because they're fairly tough to get unless the target is near you and at close range, and if your first shot misses, well, the target has heard it and will no doubt run for cover. So it's a gamble to go for. Bodyshots, I never want those to be one-hit-kill, though. And currently it's fairly rare for them to happen, which is good, and as people gear up it'll be even less common. |

I enjoyed sniping and its always been one of my favorite things to do in any game that has them, but I really thought they were a bit OP before. One sniper finding some really great spot and getting 30 kills and no deaths is a little silly. I think where they are now is actually pretty good. Looking at it from a team standpoint (guess what folks this is a team game, your own personal stats are secondary to the protection of the contract issuer's needs) the role of the sniper is going to be taking big chunks out of incoming attackers before they get there either deterring the attack or making them easier for the close-range players to take them out, or taking out other snipers to protect your own forces. As long as snipers can OHK other snipers in scout suits but not always OHK an assault trooper unless it is a very accurate shot I think it is exactly where it needs to be. |

with the damage drop coupled with less sway it makes it easier to hit, but need double or triple shots to kill...
this has removed the enjoyment from sniping,...
hits should take (player) skill, but when you do hit it should be death.
of all weapons the sniper rifle should 1 shot kill (at least scouts) and if players are getting too many kills with them, then make them harder to use, snipers are the elite in a military force not the recruits...
Sniper rifles are NOT Noob weapons,...
they should be only be deadly on the hands of a talented marksman...

Back to basics.
it's not impossible to follow up with the charge snipe for now, but you sure feel the DPS drop at the start. Quite a bit weaker now, so folks had better really want that shot they take.
I do find it a bit disquieting at times that the Sniper rifle seems better suited for Non-scoutsuit use. We'll see how our Sneakiness compensates for the fitting variations.
I'm more annoyed with watching gunners on Onikuma stuttering along like a flip-book cartoon. |

Seriously, sniper rifles arent under-powered at all
I tend to suck at using snipers and i find them pretty easy to use in this build. |
