For example: On the game modes where the game ends when the clone reserves are depleted....instead....after the reserves deplete....players still alive at that time get to keep playing until everyone is dead. I mean just because we dont have anymore clones doesnt mean we are dead. Posiblly a spector mode for the dead...
anyways...just an idea I thought i would throw in the hat... |

It won't be fun to search a hidden rabbit who don't want to die at the end of each match. |

I agree with this. Made a thread about it also during the last build. If one team can't counter the last living member of the other team, tough luck. We fight till death, not until an arbitrary number says 'we lose'. |

On Skirmish I agree. On Ambush this would be a PITA. |

Good reason for an active scanner fit

it wouldn't work since they can just sit behind the red line and be trolls until the end of the game. |

Easy solution: once the clones are depleted, the base becomes redline for the home team, too. (Or alternatively it will not be redline for the enemy team anymore). Very simple to implement. |

I disagree with OP. Current system is designed to keep game better - imagine watchin on map for five minutes in order to get your earned isk and SP. If both teams have something like 150 clones it doesn't really make difference which side reaches 100 or 124 first - odds are whoever goes below 100 will reach 124 lost clones as well. |

I just makes no sense. As long as I am alive, I can still fight and, theoretically, win.
Technically it would be easily achievable, that players who can't spawn anymore, get their SP/ISK then, without waiting for the match to end, although they won't know who won. Winning or losing is pointless currently anyways, since only the personal achievements count when calculating your reward. When we finally have some bonus for winning a match, people can either stay and watch, or leave, forgoing their bonus. But when you don't have any clones left, and the other team does, it is unlikely (albeit not impossible) that your side wins.
It is just annoying to be unable to score a kill, or to be saved from certain death, just because some other clone died. |
