you would think that the sp farming would have stopped with the new sp cap, i would have thought that it would make people think about how they spend their sp. I wouldnt wanna be playin just for isk at the end of the week. Ill admit i did some farming games at the end of the last build to play with some new weapons but i dont see the point in farming now. eventually those that didnt farm will catch up to those who have and in the end skills will come through. |

they farm for the war points so they can be high ranked on leaderbord thats what all people do that have no life look at COD they hack the leaderbords and for what .... just do be rank 1 thats why nothing more |

last night our squad had 5 or 6 OB in one match just from running round capping with a defend order on one of the players in the squad, you get twice as much SP/WP maybe more from this.
Just because there are more than a couple of OB's doesnt mean every one who is using them is farming. Limiting them will just enrage the people who play the game properly. |

Yea... No life is true... Most the time, its just a few users sharing a name and then connecting through a proxy -- Just to try and appear its only one person...
I don't get it, all that technical Bullshit just to get a few points. IN A GAME... I think they should just constantly have their points reset. |

Well lets see.
I played several matches as normal yesterday, Repping people Reviving people, soldiering, taking objectives and with a decent squad leader my prospective sp gains were as follows:
17000
19000
12000
16000
roughly speaking.
Then a friend an I decided to give LAV sp farming a go.
He got 50,000 sp
I got 30,000 sp and went 14/0 using nothing but OB
Yes. I was THAT guy.
Hmmm.... I wonder what I should do to level until I hit the sp cap?
CCP should have fixed this. They chose not to. Abuse it yourself otherwise you will get left behind.
Since this is a beta test you need to abuse exploits until its the only thing people are doing and then the producer will fix it because they will have no other choice.
Like tanks for instance in the last build.
Its a tried and true process.  |

i do this if the squad stays together i get WP from everything they do and kill i think i got like 4 OB in 1 match last night |

Thanks to ladders I was able to get up on a roof and watch a guy bounce a LAV back and forth between columns for about a minute.
When he dismounted and fired up his repair tool I shot him.
Their team had a suspicious amount of precision strikes coming down while at the same time not really holding the field.
Not sure what the solution to this would be without harming something else, but this behaviour is ridiculous.

At some point strikes are going to be EVE players rather than simply an order (tho the current system may remain in place for High Sec matches, not sure). So much of this won't even be a functional issue.
As to fixing it in the face of how things stand now in beta? Best solution I can see is making the LAV BPCs and reducing crash/impact damage. That would increase the risk to anyone farming this way and would decrease the rate at which such farming accrued WP.
