This build is incredibly polished. Not Blizzard level polish, not final release polish, but still very polished. After months of the beta I can see the full game coming together, and it looks GREAT. Well done CCP, I eagerly await the following weeks of gameplay. |

Totally agree. Compared to last build this feels like a totally different beast. No more framelag! |

I dunno, I'm getting some serious input lag on reloading and grenades, movement feels somehow off, and the graphics are off a bit too (enemies seem almost cartoony at a distance) |

What do you mean Blizzard polish? When I think of Blizzard, I think the exact opposite of polish, need I remind you of the Diablo 3 fiasco? |

Well what can I say, I am getting exactly same problems, so much framerate screen tearing in gameplay...
Edit: I am using PS3 Slim 360 .. completely new one |

In terms of design philosophy and longevity D3 is severely lacking (Torchlight 2 FTW!) , but it and other blizzard titles remain some of the most solid, well polished games in existance. |

I did notice a new feel to the movement that was brought up but i remember feeling simular about other games but eventually i got used to it and it started to make more sence than on other games i cant tell for sure if the game will be one of them but i do hope it grows on us,
But ultimatly iam very pleased with how the game is running with good solid frame rate only dropping every now and then, hit detection is nice and consistant this time with only the odd anomilies when things get hairy, i did notice lag but i think that was to do with time of day,
But deffinitaly a vast improvment to the game well done CCP if the updates to come are even close toas good as this one DUST will be one of the greats of PS3 FPS. |

That's probably what is preventing the framerate lag, less graphic details would mean less problems the ps3 needs to handle. I haven't played on the new update yet so I haven't been able to confirm this, it's just a possibility. |

Tearing and input lag, you say?
And I thought I was r'tarded for not playing last two weeks. Well I kinda am, because I haven't played in two weeks, but still. Half of my deaths today was due to weapon change/grenade lag in cqc/mid distance encounters. Just nothing happens for two seconds and I get slugged in the head good. The other half is due to FPS drops/input delay in infantry combat situations (all distances). I know that my skills are now down, bullet spill is something I can understand, but my turning/cornering/movement is so inconsistent I almost threw my DS3 against the TV twice. There is no skill for that. And this is not PEBKAC, believe me. It's so horrible I will try again tomorrow & if it stays the same I'll wait for next build.
Which is a damn shame, because new maps, new graphics and shiny frakking laser frakking rifles, man, mostly for novelty factor, but that freshness is irresistible. I so want to love this game, but it's hard. Lockups previous build and being movement challenged this build.
FTR: My PS3 is 1yr old (previous gen slim in slim series, not counting super slim that is), never had any problems before (except hard locks in previous build, but I had checked fs and rebuilt the database since and no more problems happened). Even previous build was running smoother for me overall. I've also killed everything that could get my router down, my console is cable connected to it, network performance is consistent in LAN and WAN (GW and few "friendly hosts" of known parameters). I believe the problem is in the game. Will maybe check on last-gen slim, but I expect it to be the same.

This.. and they even add more complex fog mechanics.. that will totally do things better..
