I started an Alt to try out the laser rifle, I hated it so I switched over to my main to find that I'm still specced into laser rifles. WTF CCP.
Also I can't play! I got to play one game before I switched to my main, and now that I'm on my main I can't play.
I can enter a game fine but when I try to spawn it counts down like normal and at 0 I am kicked for no reason. |

They might be low on support staff at the moment 
Did you already use your 2nd alt slot? Exit Dust & re-enter? Reboot the PS3?
I've got hours before I'm going to be able to drop in, but I'll try to reproduce on my end when I do. |

That's what I'm saying okay.
On Fiasco Llana I did not play on her after the reset.
I made a new account to try out the laser rifle. Which I still hate.
When I logged out because I hated the laser rifle so much, I logged into my main account. "Fiasco Llana"
And boom, I'm specced into the LR there too.
The only thing that worked was spending 2 hours getting a new beta code, making a new PSN, and creating a new character. |

They announced before this release that most of the Shanghai office is on holiday for the next week, and they'll be picking everything back up after they get back. We may see a few hotfixes, but don't expect as much activity from them as normal. |

Had a chance to play a bit before downtime hit (lol, haven't done that in a while) -- didn't see the issue you reported, but I didn't create any brand new characters either (just used my 3 existing).
It looked like everyone started wtih 500k sp & that you could activate passive sp gain on one of the characters, but otherwise I couldn't find any ways that SP was interconnected.
The two characters that you're having trouble with, if you turn passive gain on one does it activate for both? Do combat gains carry over from one character to the other? Is your third character slot being affected by the issue in any way? |

I agree this does suck and I know it should work...
BUT to start out another weapon skill spec isnt that SP intensive. You should be able to spec into a Tier 2 AR/SMG etc. after 3 matches. Provided you're able to play in a game.
