That's what they did this morning. It was 1300, then they edited to 1600. They probably extending the downtime for other players to catch up downloading the patch especially for the US. |

Did Ya'll Remember To Set Your skills training and to leave your char in a safe place ?
eve/dust updates :
if it says one time, expect a different one than mentioned
CCP trys to give them early but SISI is third of the hardware that runs eve, so will have a few problems.
Seeing the server up while the update says its closed: CCP likes to test stuffz , the devs want a quick pewpew,
see what is good bad and ugly.
Updating before server is ready : this is on your own head, most eve players will wait until build has been tested by devs first
and the server opens. sometimes CCP kills a build because of unseen bug/exploits, if you downloaded it and its buggy that means you have to download a new large patch. so its on your own head.
What worried me is the sparseness of fixes ie: invalid fittings connections hangs etc etc.
i have not been playing for over a month and was in hope patch notes reflected fixes to mine and others problems and bugs we had registered. |

those devs test the problem areas, you may find a few players are coders checking where glitches are.
seeing a problem in RT is better than just trawling code to find it.
i would say a couple more hours, and even then would hold of a good hour for SISI to come upto working speed.
she has to have players join to load key markets etc etc. |

i think something went wrong, normally they tweet immediately when there is extension in DT.

As much as I would like something free from the beta, I think 'free stuffz' is more a PR hype stunt then any incentive to actually test the product, I think CCP would rather have their player base on the latter, as for once this IS a beta product on a console not a demo redressed as one to sell other games/build hype. |
