i fail at farming 
once i tried to damage my own lav and fix it to see how many points people actually get so i drive my lav into a friendly tank and it explode immediately killing me in the process 
lesson learned so i just spawned and helped that certain group farming there tanks  |

If the cap is really low, let's say around 250k like a previous poster mentioned, will the passive SP gain count toward said cap? |

Farming sucks. I'm not saying this out of rage against the farmers. Some buddies and I got put in a match by ourselves once with no enemies, so we decided to try farming. After about five minutes other people started appearing. My friends decided to keep farming, but by then I was so bored with it that I went back to my usual 'job', sniping. I didn't make as much SP as they did, but I enjoyed playing the game. |

Yep, this. Tried it myself to see what the big deal was, and got bored after about 6 minutes. An utterly useless way to spend a battle.

then i probably was lied to by a farmer. well then placing a cap would be a good way of solving the problem. although people will then farm ISK. 10 isk says it will be a WARRIOR that complains about not getting SP first
