Now that SP wont be as abundant as before, I may switch it up a bit. In the new build, I will still be specing into assault suits. But I may put off my Ar skills, and spec into Swarms instead so that I can take care of the many vehicle encounters I will have early on. I will probably put one point into AR's to start with so I can get that sexy 60 bullet mag. I have a feeling I'm really going to need it.

Now that there is a hard cap limit on Skill Points and I fear I might reach it often, I will instead go with what I know I enjoy and am good at and remain a full time Assault.

Probably scout dropsuit with sniper rifle and scrambler pistol proficiencies . If the maps actually are closer to a full district, I'll also be going into LAVs If that is the case, and my friend's corp gets more people than me that play dust, I may spec into dropships.

On the bright side (from what I've experienced as a logi) WP will be much easier to get.

Hey I also duck hunt RDVs Bolas but then I also love driving a militia tank and surprising Sagaris drivers whose game may be a bit off?? After all its 130K versus 3 Million K so no great loss if I fail but a great and very satisfying win when a sagaris diver runs from a few forge gun shots to find my waiting militia tank.

But its soo fun! to have endurance , vigor and mobility at L5 in heavy TII and be able to run up to a shocked scoutsuit to then kill them with dual militia pistols. Ah!! the hate! mail. I.e. "are you wearing a glitched scoutsuit that looks like a heavy?" My response was no! its a regular heavy who went to the gym and militia pistol killed ya. Then I got three more hatemails from the same dead clone.

Honestly at the end of the day it just wasn't for me. I was mediocre at best. Also tried the fast scout/shotgun thing and I was even worse at that. So I'm going heavy with HMG's and Forge Guns. I know the heavies took a big nerf but I did really well with the HMG and I beast mode the Forge Gun so there you go. Plus I'm excited about the increased range and the overheating thing is whatever as I don't think I overheated by maybe once or twice anyway and only then cause I was shooting someone that was too far away. Also train some sniping since I like it, it's great for bigger maps and it doesn't take too much SP since sniping is like 99% skill. I could take out some assault suits and the occasional confused heavy with a charge rifle but after a while I settled on the advanced NT-5 or whatever it is. Throw a damage mod on the suit and I could one-shot any scout and help blues win any firefight I could find.

Swarm Launcher/Scrambler/Nanohive. All built upon the Dragonfly, relying on Shields for Defense. I think I'll stick to that, upgrading the general skills first and then choosing one way depending on the majority being metal or meat.

I prefer fulfilling field support roles GÇö restocking weapons, repairing assets, healing teammates and so on GÇö because, frankly, my skills do not favor me being an assault trooper; at most, I'd make a nice, but short-lived, meat shield for a teammate who's more efficient at killing clones.

Mass driver logi definitely and also laser assault if it's any good. In general going to try assault a lot more as I've completely neglected that class.

I felt this way - heavy suit felt downright claustrophibic to me. But that all changed with the locked-into-squad bug. Forced myself to go back and give the heavy another try on a different toon. It rocks pretty hard pretty quick. Get the type II teir 1 sheild/armor suit with the slightly higher base movement rate, the 1st AUR HMG(i forget its name atm), the 1st AUR forge gun, the 1st AUR flux grenades, Toxin smg for a sidearm is nice at the beginning. These all require only lvl 2 in their respective skill trees, the Toxin not even that. Then learn to play heavy(different combat rhythm and reflexes) while you skill up(I recommend the heavy and sidearm sharpshooter skills early on) and you're well on your way to becoming a freakin' monster =) *Read the patch notes for HMG - some changes this patch and it's hard to tell how the new HMG is gonna do. To me it sounds like it's gonna be a more dangerous weapon but will require a bit more skill and forethought to use to its maximum destructive potential. As for the forge, we all know that soloing tanks, dropships, lavs and snipers is hella fun ;) Punchline tho' is that with a little bit of skilling the heavy can be a freakin' blast. P.S.: Just remembered - the skinweave heavy suit is a great way to save ISK and still have a decent fit while you skill up.

The changes in SP gain makes all my efforts in the new build seem meaningless. On the old build I had accumulated a total of 27,000,000+ SP. I tried to get the Black Ops HAV (6,000,000+ SP) on the last day but ended up short by 170,000 SP.
