Yup, and I think they're releasing things slowly. I dont think we're supposed to go to null sec until we know what implications dusters have.

At least all temperate planets will be added...maybe not all at once, but they're first...probably starting at HiSec, then LoSec and finally NullSec. Other types of planets might come later(tm). |

Now take the 4 or more current basic maps we have for barren planets alone have them created on each planet to wor in the disered way between the 2 games
Well long story short im a noob in game desighn using the drag and drop fuctionality of game maker engines but even i understand how monumental a task it will be for all planets to be programmed into the game without causing bugs that can break both games so be patience they will come but not quickly |

There is only one Solar System in the entire universe, it being the system of stellar bodies that revolve around the star named Sol. Earth is a planet in that system.
The correct term is star system. It doesn't matter if any of CCP's material in or out of game made the same mistake.

@Moloko I'm really interested in the idea of clones on board EvE ships, improving mining speed/yield. In return we get to see what you see streamed to our ps3. All at our own risk with "spaceship assistance" equipment.
The level of interaction involved there is fantastic. |

@Tony I don't know what's to come for Dust .. but playing Eve on and off thru out the years I know that there will be a lot of evolution .. much more than expansion packs for current console games. |

This.
Also, the Jovian Directorate is also a very isolated empire. Eve is known to have four major empires, but the Jovian Directorate is the fifth empire in the lore. Though its territory is not all that big compared to the others, what they lack in size they make up for it in both technology and information warfare.
This is most apparent during the war between the Jovian Directorate and the Amarr Empire. The Joves knew they could not win against the Amarr head on as they were brutally outnumbered. But they used their tactic of information warfare to learn everything about the Amarrians such as their likely strategies and how their religious ideals affect their combat-related decision making. The Joves also learned that Amarr ships tended to favor long-range attacks rather than close-range brawls like the Gallente ships would get into. Because of this, the Amarrian Empire suffered such a humiliating defeat that it contributed to the Minmatar revolt that occured later on and resulted in the loss of territory on the part of the Amarr Empire.
That still didn't mean that the Jovians stopped being isolationists. They were merely responding in self defense like any other empire would. The difference here is that the Jovians reverted back to isolationism since they are still suffering from a possibly incurable genetic disease that results in many of their people suffering depressive and possibly suicidal tendencies. Thus, their population is not that big. This disease is the result of the Jovian history of meddling with genetic modification of their own bodies.
TL:DR - Don't expect Jovian space to be opened to anyone but us. But even us mercs are about to lose that access soon and we probably won't be seeing the inside of Jove space again forever. |

Yeah, Jove space is just a convenient place for them to test assets. Some players believe their entire race might have died out, and there aren't any gates that lead there anyway. Unless they changed the unstable wormhole mechanics to allow us access, I think that area is going to remain a mystery. |

Think minecraft. My thoughts exactly.
I remember seeing and interview a while back about how they aren't actually designing however many thousand maps. Each section of a planet will have a randomly generated complex (think of the buildings in the current skirmish mode). One battle will never be the same as another. |

There are 9 types of planets not 7.Moons will be playable/conqurable too eventually i guess.Maps arent generated rather the are permaneant and can only be changed when Dust or eve players provide/take structures.Enviroment always stays the same also. |
