Hello Dusters,
I know there is another reset coming and i don't mind it, but i'm thinking of running a AV / Logibro build on the next reset. any tips to get the best of both worlds? I know there is a few threads about logi builds, but I don't know what is nessasary as a logi bro or AV other than Kill and heal, or is it the other way...

Well as Logi you only get one weapon + grenades so make them both AV. Nano Hives sound like a must for you.
Honestly you might want to run Logi first spawn with an Uplink, Hive, Injector and then have a second spawn focused on your AV stuff.
The big question you have to ask yourself is which aspect earns you the most WP at present and then skill that up first because both are going to take some time to develop skill wise.
I hope that helps a bit, there are some good threads out there from players more experienced than I. :)

Use a Logistics suit with a Swarm Launcher, or an Assault Suit with a Swarm, Secondary Weapon, and then 2 equipments for advanced and Proto I think. |

I run as a logi and an AV guy but I have separate fits for them. I have all my different logistics fits, a scout with a swarm launcher and nano hives and a heavy with a forge gun. It works better this way because as a logi it will be hard to do your job with a swarm launcher as it is useless against infantry. As a logi your going to need to be on the frontlines supporting your team which means killing every now and then
You could equip a logi suit with a mass driver which would allow you to kill infantry as well as LAV's but it would be useless against anything bigger. With these fits it's kind of hard to combine them as they have very different roles on the battlefield. However this is just my opinion and I have never actually combined them into one fitting before. See you planetside fellow logi =ƒÿ¥ |

Advanced assault only has 1 equipment slot and proto is a lot of sp ... I've run assault AV all build and not got as far as proto yet, too many other skills you need to survive the infantry battles. You need the nanohive for the swarm launcher so you're not going to get anything logi on there for a long time.
Don't know too much about logi, but if you've got a grenade slot, I'd just train that with AV nades to assist you AV specialist like me and train a bit of swarm launcher to fit one suit with so you can call it in for the HAV spider spam matches where there's little infantry left to worry about needing a SMG for.
I'm afraid it's one or the other due to the lack of sidearm and equipment slots on each class off suit. |
